Last week the Tasmanian E-Sports Society (TESS) held a combined LAN at the University of Tasmania. Having a surprising turn out I thought i'd write a little about our cozy community.

Now you might all think "What is a Tasmania? ", well little people know of our existence, we're a little island located at the bottom of Melbourne. We're not a territory, we're actually a state, yup, TAS.

At the end of 2011 a group of friends and I, who are just casual SC2 gamers ourselves decided to join the E-Sports community. It didn't take us very long to realise that there really was no community established down here :/ So in out quest to join the E-Sports community we decide to try and create one and since then TESS was born. Since then we've held Barcrafts, online 2v2 tournaments to build on the community, LANs and just casual bar gatherings.

Just to let everyone of the sc2sea community that little old Tasmania is still alive and the competition is fierce!
