Some people were asking questions, so I went to clarify with the event organiser on what is happening for Starcraft 2 this year. Remember, I am just the messenger!

TGX will be held from 7th to 9th September.

1. There will be no Starcraft 2 in WCG Singapore this year.

It looks like SC2 was replaced by "World of Tanks". Only the winning CS team and WoT team will get sponsored tickets to the finals in China.

2. There will be iESF as usual, with the winner winning tickets to the world finals. Last year it was to Korea.

3. The TGS Singapore qualifiers (Top 8) will be played then as well, with the winner winning the ticket to Japan.

So there will be two events at TGX this year.

Can I know the prize pool for these sc2 tournys? Maybe if its big, then it may get lazy ppl to train up.

The prize pool is normally small. Like some hardware product like mouse/keyboard for 1st/2nd prize and 1st prize get air ticket to IESF finals.
