So as you are all aware, we have been getting a lot of people entering the weekly, always maxing out on 64 players. Since Neither myself nor Baldie will be here to run the tournament tonight (sadly) I thought it would be a good time to get some stuff sorted.
Firstly, map pool. Are there any EXTREME cases where a map needs to be removed, ive had the winners each week remove and add maps just to get something that the community likes, so this is your last chance to speak up and change any map, of course within good reason.
Secondly, I might extend the brackets to 128 maximum, now we will never hit that however it will allow for those few extra players, and of course another map in the pool. If you have an opinion on this please post
To add with the extra people I am looking for someone else to help me admin the tournament each week, its just so hectic and hard to line matches up, deal with game issues and hiccups AND keep things running smoothly, so if you are interested you can PM me. Also if you would like to stream any of the games with having so many people that would be awesome.
Another thing is the prizepool will be increasing again, and relies on people be generous and having deep pockets, so if you would like to increase it you can PM myself. With this there 'SHOULD' be a first and second place cash prize.
Finally, for those who don't know Winter Nights have disbanded, which leaves the name of the weekly open to debate. I am happy to leave it as is however if you have an idea or request we can look at renaming the tournament.
Anyway guys just let me know what you think of the tourney in general and any suggestion would be appriciated!!!
GSL map pool isnt entirely on SEA. Otherwise yea I would use a few, and instead of stating just use that pool can you actually state which maps you would like to see. Problem is, not matter what maps I choose someone will always disagree with at least one map so yea map names would be much better, and make sure they are on SEA
@Cute I was thinking of keeping it anyway just was seeing if anyone had a preference, but it shall stay
@ Zepph I would have run it tonight but I wanted to sort a lot of this stuff out since Baldie wouldnt be here, but your help in admining would be appreciated . I also had Breadfan offer to help out, and will take you up on that as well
I just don't get what people have against Korhal when they have left Cloud in the pool. They are both equally dodgy, with terran and protoss able to own half the map with just a few sige units/ffs.
Anyway, if you wanna rename it, why not call it the Community Open, seeing as that's basically what it is. And for the love of god can't SOMEONE get some korean contacts and get the other maps over here.

As protoss I find it really weird to ffe on, and when I try to take a third (which is rarely :P) its just really awkward for everyone
Also I find the big area in the middle and just the movement paths on that map in general really weird, like it just feels like something bad is going to happen every time u try cross the map

Cloud is a much better map than Korhal and is used in almost every tournament.
I don't think we should name this tournament after an already existing one either... plus I think having 'Weekly' in its name is still a good idea
