Is this juts a general thread saying they are starting to get into esports? also i take it tasteless and clutch are with them already is why they are on there?
Fnatic and SK as prime examples obtained their partners in the early years through a management agency based out of the United Kingdom. Whilst it could potentially broaden a teams horizons, most agencies take a large percentage of anything they can negotiate on your behalf - on occasion effectively doubling the cost and preventing a direct line of communication to the sponsor. It'll be interesting to see if these guys pan out in a growing sea of middlemen.
mmm okayy interesting. I'd really like to know of some rather specific info about whatever this is though... I'm with System man, I have no idea what this is trying to say.
imo this kind of service quickly elevates teams and/or individuals to potentially unsustainable heights. While the agent cashes in on the service. tread carefully my SEA friends...
In the pro gaming world, contracts / sponsors / promotions are all a very real thing at the top level.
This business or group obviously handles that with professional industry knowledge. These people (you would hope) have been there done that and can lead the pro gamer or team by the hand when they need to get sponsorship or a decent contract.

So before people jump to any conclusions (positive or negative) I just wanted to take a second to explain our goals in a nutshell. It's not like we are going to bring fresh money and brands in overnight, these things take time and we are in for the long haul.
First. We don't believe in limiting anyone's opportunity in the space. We view the players, talent, and teams as individual entities. Forging solid relationships with our clients to best allow us to connect them to opportunities that may be out of their reach. We also look to build businesses that the clients have ownership of.
Second. We offer Protection for our clients that they may not normally have access to as we have lawyers on staff
Third. I partnered with Brian Balsbaugh for a reason. He segued from the Golf scene to get into poker because he recognized the opportunity to showcase poker players as talent. He sees the same opportunity in eSports. His Poker roster is quite impressive and his clients are as good of a reference as any.
We operate like any other professional agency. We work for our clients. At the end of the day they call all the shots, we can only present them with opportunity and advise.
We look forward to working with everyone from the leagues to the teams and have had some great conversations thus far.
This is about getting eSports to the next level. Prosperity and protection are key elements to making sure this scene thrives.
---
If Coke and Pepsi come to us. We match Coke with team A because its a good fit for them. Then we match Pepsi with team B because it's a better fit. So on and so on. What exactly doesn't make sense?
How would that be anti competitive or spirit crushing?
It seems to me it would add value and great publicity and... wait for it with that comes... STABILITY!
How many teams have come and gone?
In a nutshell, sourcing sponsors for teams and events can be difficult for the individual. Not only is it difficult, but it's time consuming. And the people who are playing the game or managing teams already have very busy schedules. But when you have an established agent committed to achieving this during standard operating hours, with a conventionally impressive backing/client base, it really speaks volumes in terms of legitimacy. You can sit back and they'll bring the sponsors to you, and to the scene. This is just one of many potential benefits. It applies to events, players and even peripherals. They're committed to being the unified face of the professional scene.
O ty dox that second post actually gave me the brainwave as to why this is huge now I feel dumb hahaha thanks dox . This is really cool to hopefully help continue to grow the scene i hope they are in for the long hall.
