One nifty little fact is that my very first ladder game was literally on this day one year ago:




In all seriousness though, I made this thread as a thank-you thread.

And of course its to all the homo's in TA. Not only for teaching me, but more importantly keeping it fun.

Namely thanks to dicklu (riich) for inviting me into the gang around july '11, then continually raping me with hellions ever since.

Rossi, deth and pinder for generally abusing me, then adding some serious points that were gold at the time.

Edge for saying "Sorry man, im a really bad teacher," then talking for 10 minutes non-stop about in-depth strategy. Again, gold. And for helping me choose the Valerian portrait. I can safely say I am practically the only person on SEA that uses it :P

Milly for being a bro.
Fourby for being a ho.

A shoutout to Rane who I never freaking see, but taught me his ZvT months ago, which i have fundamentally used to this day and have loved ZvT ever since. To this end, thanks to Shi Hao before he got conscripted to go play army-men for shit tonnes of practice (competitive?) zvt's.

To scara who helped me figure Mech aages ago. Figuring that out was a big confidence booster in the diamond days

Krunch who helped me realise some of the intricacies / a solid drone ling balance of the first 5 mins in zvz

On the side, a shoutout to Pig who gave me an hour (and a half actually) of free coaching after a torny. He got me in line with how to open ZvP effectively and definitely gave me a big boost in improvement for me in such a short span of time.

And everyone else who played a part in the enjoyment of this game for me. If I didnt mention you above but I talk to you often, you obviously know who you are. There were just too many of you to list TA's a big happy family indeedy)
I highly doubt I would still be playing if it wasnt for you, and I definitely wouldnt be at this rank.

I should be seeing a lot of you at ACL this weekend. Although if i see Champi with scissors / a razor, im leaving.
