I have been playing on the EU and NA SC2 servers(I live in the UK), but would really love to go on to the Korean/Twain servers. I watched the tutorial by nirvAnA that is posted on this site, which is very clear and helpfull. What I need help with or to understand is after you buy everything etc how do you actually sign in to the Twain battlenet welcome screen, if its anything like logging in to the EU and NA servers you cant log in to your SC2 EU account using your NA server ID and vice versa, this means you basically have SC2 installed twice on your PC and you have paid twice for the game.
You have to go to battlenet and create an account one for EU and one for NA which is easy enough as you can make up any American address to create your NA account, theres no ID check etc. So if I buy and download the Twain version of SC2 I cant log in unless I can register a new account on battlenet using Twain as my home country. This is where I need help I checked the battlenet website and tried to create a new account using Twain as my home country but you need to provide a NID number which is some form of identity in Twain, theres nothing like this when creating a NA or EU account, so if I buy and download a SC2 Twain version how can I log in if I cant create a new account. I hope I have managed to get this across clear enough and any information on how to get on to the Korean/Twain servers would be greatly appreciated.

Step 1 i believe covers this, on your battle.net page you add the Game code. (You can use NA or EU, as it adds an extra game)
Taiwanese accounts dont require any ID code or anything (unlike korean accounts- which require a korean internet ID or whatever those are called.

download the tw client

log in with ur existing account.

Hi Guys,

I posted a thread earlier about setting up a Twain account and now I have managed to create this account. I have a couple of questions and I hope you guys can shed some light on.

I logged in to my Twain account using my NA battlenet log in details that seemed no problem I'm just worried should my Twain Username still have the same character code as my NA one. I hope i'm not playing on the NA servers but just using my Twain account, i dont even know if this is possible. I'm sorry if i'm asking stupid questions as I am quite new to Starcraft and any help would be much appreciated. Also instead of me creating a new thread how do you replay to your own threads to responed to people who have answered questions cant seem to see any buttons for replay to thread etc.

I managed to find mange account on my new Twain account and when I logged in to the Twain Battlenet it had my character Name the same as the one on my NA account but it had a different character code but when I log into the Twain account the character code is the same as the one on my NA account Is this normal.

More than likely a coincidence, but is the client in Taiwanese ?

You should be using the TW client to log onto the server, and not your NA one...

Yeah I am using my Twain client but using my NA battlenet to log on. I dont know if this still happens but whe I used to log into my NA account using my EU battlenet details by mistake it used to say something about reinstalling or something or about updating your starter edition etc. I wonder has this happened to my Twain account.

Your battle net account is connected as one so you will use it to log into any blizzard game.

Do you have 5 new games to play for 1v1?

Any games played at all in the profile?

Seriously, the TW client isn't programmed to connect to the NA server so I highly doubt that any of this is an issue it is just a coincidence that you ended up with the same char code

When you first logged in- were you asked to Set your character name?

Yeah it asked me for a character name I think but I cant read Twain, lol so I just used the same name as on my NA account

Gus you really have to spend more reading what we say, and what the guide has said, and you will not be wasting your time having to type all this. everything you said has already been covered in the guide.

1) Did you make a new account or did you add the Taiwan code to your existing account?

If you added the code to ur existing account like mentioned in the guide, just log in with your existing account email/pass using the TW client to connect to the TW/KR server. U will have absolutely no problems.

2) Sometimes names/ids have the same name IDs across servers, it can be a coincidence and sometimes they dont. Dont worry about it

3) to see if everything is working right, go to the multiplayer tab and try finding a game.

Hi nirvana and thanks for all your help I feel really stupid putting all you guys out dealing with a Newbie. To answer your question I added the Twain client to my NA account. Please nirvana can you just add me to your friends to make sure it is working ok.

I just tried to find a multiplayer game I still have 50 practice matches to play aswell but the download bar does not get past 2% is there anything I need to do like open any ports etc.

Can i ask, did u even buy your account from SC2SEA?

I've went through the transactions and dont see your name in the list. A lot of times customers buy from other places, run into prolems and expect us to solve it because they see we provide customer support to our cusomters. Please mail the customer service of the respective site you bought it from.

Next, adding friends wont test anything.

1) Is ur sc2 client interface in chinese or english?
2) go to ur NA client, click on multiplayer > find games
3) remmeber the buttons u clicked on
4) go to ur TW client and click on those same buttons
5) if u end up in a mutiplayer game or start seaching, its working perfectly.

that is the best way to test u have a valid working account. the fact that can log it tho should be proof enough already.

I bought points from xxxxxxxxxxx so sorry if I have been wasting your time nirvana I suppose I could uninstall the Twain client and rebuy from yourselves so I can get support and yes my home screen is all in chinese.

no dont uninstall the taiwan client , that does nothing.

if u just want to test if ur account works, follow the steps ive outlined in the previous post. thats all you need is to do to test if the account works.

however if that still doesnt work, the mypoints process is uncessarily complicated and people have difficulty with it, you could have missed a step somewhere and not acivated the account properly.

i cannot support other sites sorry, and i think we have done more than enough already. you have to ask those sites for the support and yes if u buy it from our store and still encounter difficulties u can add me on skype and ill go through it with you like i do for any customers who still have problems.
