After this point the player who did not disconnect has the option to either re-play or take the win
Players need to nominate thier race BEFORE every match and may not switch races when the match commences.
Random Race is allowed, however once announced (BEFORE THE MATCH) that player will play as random for the entire match
Oh the finals is LAN? ~.~ sorry didn't catch that part, I'll have to pull out of this one then.
We had TAFourby (Who lives in Victoria) play from home when he made finals in Season 2. We are currently looking into the feasibility of hosting LAN finals. It would obviously be a great way for people to catch up/meet each other but equally if we are allowing people from interstate to play - and should they make finals and be able to play from home - we appreciate we should allow all finalists to play from home.
Long story short, we will manage the situation when/if it arises but you will not be compromised for being interstate.
Given at this stage we are still a smallish community and our tournaments are still developing and growing, we aren't fussed in having interstate participants.
We would rather have SEA connect than be SA nazi's and have it only local.
Perhaps in the not too distant future we will have them be SASL Opens which can involve anybody local or interstate and then look into hosting local SASL tournaments which would obviously be SA only.
It has gone through a major overhaul since Season 2 so we look forward to a better viewing experience (It should now stream in 720p with Ultra settings smoothly) *touch wood*
I myself (Baldie.924) currently am responsible for the stream and as it currently stands I are looking at hosting a weekly wrap-up of each round with footage from notable games and recapping on progress so far. So look out for that.
Having your games streamed live is entirely optional. However, if you wish to organise a time with me to have it streamed (or have any questions) there are a few options:
1. Send me an email (brad.baldwin24@gmail.com)
2. PM me on Facebook (www.facebook.com/brad.baldwin)
3. Add me in SC2 and let me know (Baldie.924)
4. PM me on Skype (bradley_baldwin)
We also have an in-game SASL chat. Just type in "SASL" in groups and you should join in.
Cheers!

Is there a twitter to follow? I don't use facebook ~.~
I am unsure if we have a twitter set up.. and if we do I doubt we use it directly. Although you can set up twitter to feed Facebook posts right? We can set one up if it will be of service.

Facebook is where the most discussion happens as people are on it all the time - and are too lazy to go to the forums. We are in the process of merging the current website to a new and improved, and hopefully more appealing website.
Hopefully this tournament will bring some life back into the forums. We will be sure to announce any major news on sc2sea as well just to be safe. If we have any news we need to get out into the community we will post it here as well as forums and FB
For anybody unaware at this point in time the brackets have been finalised and released (http://challonge.com/saslseason3). Registration was closed early as we decided to cap the registration limit to 50. Please find your opponent and manage your games. Round 1 games can be played from Monday 26th March.
We will attempt to rectify the situation with those people who signed up with either their real name or without their IGN ID as to avoid any potential issue in communication.
All information you need regarding this tournament should be available to you on the Challonge page. If you have any further questions post in the forums and/or reply to this thread and an admin will answer it as quickly as possible (likely myself).
Even the smallest donations help keep sc2sea running! All donations go towards helping our site run including our monthly server hosting fees and sc2sea sponsored community tournaments we host. Find out more here.
