New Season 7 Map Results

Metropolis? I remember one called Metalopolis from ACL GC. Are they different? I's no Starcraft playa so please don't hate my lack of knowledge.

I wish we could get rid of Shakuras Plateau already, terrible, terrible map. But it looks like everyone is jumping on shattered

On the bright side daybreak and metropolis is going to be sick. Who knows about ohana.

It's pretty awesome how they're finally listening to the community and running polls for this stuff. Season 7 map pool will be the best one yet.

as for the new source with voting out i voted Antigua to get rid of jst because the map lay out doesnt really let you have epic games. This is why i voted for its removal over meta which is a night mare pvz wise

disappointed that metropolis got voted in, but hey we still have map veto's right

i really don't like entombed valley, but i understand why people be hating on shattered temple and wouldn't mind either way.

Not only will Daybreak, Metropolis, and Ohana be joining the map pool, but we’re also experimenting with expanding the overall size of the pool from eight maps to ten in season 7.

They may not be removing 3 to replace these :O

which is cool imo more maps are cool as long as they give more vetos so people only have to play whatever they are most comfortable on if they choose to I think it's good

this map encourage mutli tasks
so should be epic if you have even skill towards your opponent

I'm gonna vote out Entombed Valley, it's the only map I truly can't stand, and have veto'd.

I like Cloud Kingdom but that would be my next choice - I like it less than the others. Third pick, I'd have to agree with Stallion. Antiga is a true favourite of mine, but it has that kinda randomness to it.

But yeah these were my 2 picks, and I love Daybreak, awwww yeah

What map is ohana? Is it a remake of alternate version of a different map?

I voted Antiga Shipyard out. i hate maps where elevator plays are really strong and you can hit production facilities with tank on the low ground. the problem with the antiga main is that it is relatively small when compared to the mains of say, shattered temple (which islooking like it is going to be leaving, wtf) or shakuras.

On most maps you can get around it by being proactive with building placement. but on antiga, you just always seem to have to put a line of buildings out that far.

can anyone think of a main that is smaller than antiga shipyard?

EDIT: i picked calm before the storm. sad it didnt get in. But then again, seems my map choice is different to the rest of the community...

It's basically Belshir with the summer tile set and more balanced.

Has watchtowers, a sneaky expo just under / above the main depending whether you're top / bottom. Looks good to me.
