Hey everyone!

I just joined recently and love the site and forums so far! You guys do an awesome job!

One thing I was wondering, and haven't really found a good place to find it, was a list of Terran streaming players who prefer mech. I figured people here must watch a ton of different streams and maybe you could help me out.

I've watched GoOdy's and downloaded a lot of his replays. I've tried to watch Avilo's stream... but it wasn't for me. Can you guys suggest any other meching players I could watch/get replays of?

Hey man welcome!!!

We do have a thread for new people :P but dont worry I am not going to be a nazi about it. Anyway we do have a stream listing on the right hand side with races played so you can have a peek at whats going on. But aside from that and teamliquid its either pot luck to find it unless terran players here tell you

Usually you aren't spolied for choice when it comes to terran streamers on this site, although there are some very awesome terran players streaming. I don't know if any of them really favour mech play.

Mech is pretty common in TvT. Should be easy to find a stream for someone who does it pretty regularly (at least on TL...). I know Jinro does it sometimes.

TvZ it's less common. I know a bunch of GM Terrans like to mech in this matchup, but none who stream.

TvP you just don't mech.

I've seen atleast one terran mech vs toss, a funny ghost thor build. Pretty sure he was european but can't remember who it was.

There are some cute Thor/Banshee builds that are viable as 2 base all-ins basically. But as a solid macro game Mech is not really very good againtst toss. I've seen Beastyqt do it on stream before though (but only on shakuras, which is a pretty baller map for turtling terrans (and those little high ground areas are somewhat good spots for tanks against chargelots)

As for MU's yes I did mean all. GoOdy was up at Grandmaster using only mech not too long ago. If he can get to high GM on EU doing it I shouldn't have too much trouble getting to Masters at least on NA, should I?

I have seen BeastyQT's Thor/Banshee build and have used it to some success, but I think that is a lot more of a surprise build and not a solid one. I haven't seen him play on Shakuras though.

Cabracan, you're a meching Terran?

The one I saw was 3 base on antiga, basically kept his opponent on 3 base and out played, however if people got at all used to it I think the protoss would beat it easily.

@auTHORity sorry I'm pretty much the opposite, will play bio whenever I'm allowed to.

actually qxc is working on this and is having some real success with thor hellion ghost viking styles atm hes only doing it on easy 3 base maps though as the ones with islands he needs more minerals so he can SCAN THE ISLAND!!!

jinro's tvt mech is actually pretty good from what i've seen, but mech is still too gimmicky against protoss atm because of the map pool.
