SC2SEA continues to grow! Today we are proud to announce - a completely new Replay + Player / Clan Database system for SC2SEA.

Clan / Team Detail Page
Major Features:
Our new replay system has completely replaced our old version. Basically this will have an inbuilt parser replay system that automatically extracts information from replays uploaded. Built on top of that is a complete Player and Clan / Team database. When details for a replay is viewed, it automatically pulls the players pic, rank, images and other information. Some information are automatically calculated each time, like the battle.net data, whereas others like the player pics are retrieved from the player / clan database. Like the stream system, we will include ONLY the very best of global replays, like the recent IEM for example and the vast majority of the replays will be SEA based.
Automated Replay Parser - fetches Rank, League and Battle.net information from Blizzard's database.
Game Details automatically calculated - Race, Game Duration, Map Image, Winner (with spoiler), Patch Version, Server, etc
Upload up to 20 replays at a time.
Rating, Comment & fast download features.
Search for replays by name, tournament or tags
Player Information - Profile data & linked to all replays in the database
Clan information & Find all player profiles & replays from clan members.
Limitations:
As it was built initially as a replay database, you need a replay of yourself uploaded before your profile page appears.
No extraction of chat yet. Need dox's help for this!
For now player profile editing is limited only to Moderators, crAzerk and Stallion and you will can ask any of them to edit your profile.
Known bugs - all game show up in the 1v1 funny category. Update: Fixed.
Help build SC2SEA!
If you always wanted to play a part in building SC2SEA and helping develop the community, there isn't a better time to start then now. I have initially uploaded 400 replays (Basically Week 1 to Week 8 of SEAPL replays) and done up about 50 profiles, but there are still TONS of replays, player images and biographies to do.
Your help will not go unnoticed, we normally show our appreciation to staff by giving them cool stuff others do not have like Custom Colors, Custom designed Avatars, Beta Keys (HOTS SOON ANYONE?!) etc but if thats why you want to apply then please don't. Those should be thought of as bonuses and your main reason behind helping should be because you have a strong love the community and want to help develop it, with the satisfaction of playing a part in that would be the best reward itself.
So yes, we are looking for Replay / Player DB Admins and be descriptive as possible in your application, stating which area you want to help out in (Replays or Player/Clan DB) and which exact area. (E.g Focus on Tier3 Clans, Submission of quality international replays etc)
Want to upload a replay? Feel free to do so! For now, everyone can upload replays but this will be changed if it gets abused.
Credit to dox's whos hypothetical layout design we based our original draft on.

Main Credit:
A HUGEEE thanks to Veteris who just two weeks ago gifted us amazing stream functionality. Once again he did all the backend coding for this during his semester break for his super busy medicine degree. He has been helping me tirelessly over the last week (i believe we both did 12 hour+ coding days for the last 3 days straight - and veteris of course spent much more time on it + has the super skills to make it happen)
Changed ownership of this post to veteris so he can be repped! It takes just a second, nothing compared to the time he spent working on this so lets show him our appreciation!
Even the smallest donations help keep sc2sea running! All donations go towards helping our site run including our monthly server hosting fees and sc2sea sponsored community tournaments we host. Find out more here.
