Singapore, 3rd January 2012 – Directly after the New Years celebrations, Alienware Arena is proud to announce the Alienware Arena StarCraft II Battlegrounds has started. Residence from Singapore and Malaysia are now officially allowed to crown the Winter Season Champion.

Alienware Arena will start as a normal ladder, which has been tweaked and customized to the needs of a gamer. The system allows hardcore gamers and casual gamers to match each other and to measure and compare strength in official matches. Besides the weekly scheduled matches, participants are allowed to collect bonus points by challenging opponents.

The top 32 players at the end of the season will be invited to the Invitational parts, which will be played in a playoff system. These players can already call themselves to be the best 32 players of Singapore and Malaysia. This not being enough, Alienware Arena puts out a total prize of SGD 1,750 / RM 4,250. Right now 52 players are in their spots to participate in the ladder system, also players like iceiceice or FlashRevz will do their best to take home the first title of the Alienware Arena StarCraft II Battlegrounds Winter Season.

Everyone, who is not yet participating, can still register and compete. Make sure that you do not miss such a great opportunity to play against friends or direct competitors and secure yourself a chance on the SGD 1,750.
