Just like the title says, SC2/Xsplit gets laggy when I try to stream. They can both be open at the same time with no problem, but once I capture my screen, they become very, very laggy. I stream CoD, I'm sure that is a totally different thing, but it doesn't lag like this. And I have it on Full (Windowed) so if anyone could help me out, it'd be really appreciated!
make sure that in the area that lists the screen regions there is only one. having more will lag it
also make sure when u select the screen region you click on starcraft, dont drag it, this is known to cause problems.
the other thing you can do is scale the viewport to 10% so that you dont have to spend as many resources to watch your own stream.
Anyone else able to help me out here? I'd love to stream it. (Even though I'm pretty bad) Because I have some followers who demand it. To clear up the problem, it is that when I start capping the screen (Not streaming yet) it begins to lag up/begin chopping all around. If anyone knows anything about this problem, I'd love some assistance!
Edit!!
It isn't quite as bad in game, but it still happens. By this I mean while playing. :P

Well you could try using Xsplit alongside Dxtory. There is a guide on it at Team Liquid, just search it.
Also have you tried turning down the resolution or frame rate to see if that solves the problem? Or reduce the graphic settings in SC2? Maybe its just that the computer can't handle capturing and encoding at a high resolution or while having to render the SC2 graphics.
Well, I have tried to lower quality on my stream, doesn't help, I lowered the bitrate, also doesn't help. I'll try to use that other program like you said, and I'd rather not lower my SC2 quality settings because they're already on Medium :/
Well, it works on low quality. It just sucks because I'd prefer not to play on low. hahah. Maybe soon I'll get a better graphics card for my computer to improve that performance.
