After being contacted by a couple of people I thought I'd jump on here and throw down a post to give everyone an update. Initially we were hoping to be able to provide the GESC prizes in full within one month of the competitions conclusion. However with Quarter 4 being a very busy time for accounts departments around the world it simply hasn't been possible. I can however say without hesitation that the absolute latest the prizes will be distributed is by the end of January 2012. Whilst I understand this is not ideal we are working to provide these ASAP, sooner the better. Considering competitions like WCG, ESWC and IEM often take 12 months or more, whilst not ideal I believe we're doing fairly well.
Lastly I'd like to point out that the SC2 community is important to myself, my players and the team as a whole. Running competitions for SC2 is something I hope to see us involved with a lot more. A prime example of our commitment to the community that some of you may not be aware of was with the Australian WCG Grand Final in Brisbane. Without any prior discussion or relationship we were contacted by competition organisers 2 days out from the Australian WCG Grand Finals - asking to borrow our PC's because one of their partners had withdrawn their support. Knowing that if we weren't to provide these PC's WCG would have been cancelled - we paid at our own expense for 16 PC's to be shipped up to Brisbane overnight first class (Not cheap!). Thankfully they arrived on Friday afternoon and were setup ready for the Saturday. It's great to think we played our part in getting Andy to South Korea for the WCG Grand Final along with every other competitor playing on PC.
I don't get the chance to check forums often these days so if anyone does need to contact myself or someone at Team Immunity please feel free to email Lloyd Smith my General Manager as your first port of call - lloyd[a-t]team-immunity.com or grab YYJ.
Cheers guys,
Tony.
P.S. We're going to have some cracking giveaways happening on our Facebook (www.facebook.com/teamimmunity) page in the lead-up to Christmas if anyone is interested (Winners will be provided with these in January before anyone asks )
