Taiwan's first barcraft will be hosted at Da Bar on December 12th.

To help get the movement started in Taiwan Blizzard is working with a local sports bar in Taipei, Taiwan whose owners are StarCraft fans. It is really hard to have BarCraft in Taiwan because of the time zone (MLG, NASL etc. all start in the early morning for us and GSL usually is in the afternoon). The TCL (Taiwan Clan League) will have their casters live at the bar casting a clan match between Taiwan's StorM clan and China's clan Dhc. During matches the casters will invite audience members to come up and answer StarCraft trivia, those who answer wrong will have to drink the "Baneling Bomb". Starting at 10pm (Taiwan time) there will be three Bo3 show matches between Taiwanese TeSL pro-players and Korean pro players.
The matches are:

• SpiderNifi (Taiwan's other 2011 Blizzcon player other than Sen) vs. IM_Happy
• SpiderDemonSheep (Former random player and Taiwan's #2 Terran) vs. ST_Curious
• GamaniaSlam (Sen's teammate) vs. FXO_Choya

Honestly, the Taiwan players are probably going to have a tough time with these matches, but they should put up a good fight, and who knows, anything can happen! If you are in Taipei and you want to go fell free to PM me. Tickets are $NT200 at the door and include 2 beers and a buffet (Pretty good deal). But, the venue is expected to get really full really fast so I would recommend getting there early (doors open at 6:30pm Taiwan time).
