I cannot thank PiG and the comments made by Nirvana and some of you found in the GM manual enough. Today marks my GREATEST accomplishment of SC2! I am now going to be a regular student to you zerg coaches as you clearly know what you are talking about!

Let me tell you my thought process
Gotta make drones, gotta Not get supply blocked, gotta scout . . . .sigh do i have to
So i send my ovies out, and then a drone and get the loc of the base . . good i scouted . . im ace . . . but wait!

ive been reading some of the posts with the replay analysis and you always seem to bang on about keep scouting . . so this time i did. and i couldnt believe what i saw

1. I saw a stargame at the very last minute
2. a fast expand NOT in his natural
3. OMG am i droning up with an expansion or WHAT!!! i couldnt believe how my game suddenly took itself over
4. i assumed voids or that other thing (dont play toss cant remember what its called . . you know, that annoying thing which lifts up units)
5.i teched lair immediately, got hydras out, started control group hotkeying the larva (never did that before)
Whacked a evo down DIDNT over produce cos im scared now cos i hate voids
6. cos i had so much money and larva with constant injects got out about 12 lings, expo down, used to rescout, he sends voids, no match for hydras . . win win win

I thank you all! For once that game didnt seem such a panic fest and went just as you lot have said in the manual. im a british player so GMT so if any of you GMs want to coach me send me a PM.

lol the achievement is that he felt he used the information he's been trying to learn from TGM and implemented it in his play successfully.

frosty says it best. yes. Ive been kind of reading the advice ive been given through many sources. My achievement was i suppose the fact that most games i get this feeling . . . im just going to call it a feeling of too much to do, so little time, . . erm pressure! This game after really drilling up before hand in some ai games with the scouting i couldnt believe how much time and minerals i had and information would be the key. i knew exactly what he had. Most of my game are in the dark as when my spotters get sniped i very rarely have any back up. I just kept on with it . . not as much as im seeing everyone else doing but really good for me.

the game became 10x more fun because of this site, im still loosing a lot more than winning since ive taken a back step with my new appraoch but i feel much better. i had the economy, i had the information i hust didnt deal witrh the next bit. those are my next steps.

oh ive always been top 3 or so in ladder (7 atm, i know it doesnt matter) but im more annoyed with my last 40 games atm. i was like 700pts on 40 games, changed my tacs now im 633 for 80 . . not good, this is down to me getting used to this play style but you can clearly see when you nail it just how much further in front you can get with taking expos and making better comps of armies and denieng their expos . . its great this game. i always understood what i had to do its the physical nature of geting it done . . . but i guess we call this practice

yep zerg is all about scouting and reacting and it feels really good and the game is more fun when you get it right.
