I've been a long time lurker and this is my submission for the "The Final Diablo 3 Beta Key Giveaway!" and my first ever post! To start things off, I want to say something to everyone entering this competition.



You are doing it WRONG!!

Nono I don't mean taking upskirts of sexy quarter pounders, i mean getting D3 keys! Because the right way to do it was to be part of the sc2sea staff, which would get you a key instantly! (or so it seems) And you would not have to enter a contest or let the wheels of fortune or rather mouse clicks of EddieGPD decide your fate. So how exactly do you become a SC2SEA staff? I WILL SHOW YOU THE LIGHT!!

Step 1: Be a nice guy.



If you're thinking yea that's a good idea I should just be nice guy from now on just like the guy from American Pie. Well heres where i say to you again

Ok so back to what i was saying.....



Because being a pushover nice guy like Mr Jason Biggs will only land you sexual encounters with pies and socks. So let me rephrase that.

Step 1: Be a COOL nice guy!

For some reason this guy comes to mind.



He wasn't the best looking or the smartest but he had fantastic work ethic and character and along with other hardworking artists like Matt Damon, Leonardo Di Carpio made themselves standout and become the A-Listers they are today. You don't see them in the tabloids making a fool of themselves (Ok leo sometimes cause he gets so much female attention) or displaying any diva histrionics and i'm sure if you bump into them they will gladly introduce themselves and maybe give you a hug. I am a big Will Smith fan and you should check out his inspirational quote collection on youtube.

We don't have to look too far for other examples, look at these sc2sea bad boys, even their Avatars reek of personality and coolness.



So yea, rule number 1 - Be a cool nice guy.

Respect everyone, help the noobies out instead of laughing at them (Ok actually you can laugh at them for abit, but after that help them out) and be a general good guy that contributes to this nice positive community vibe we have. That will make you well liked by people, give you a sense of satisfaction for helping others and is the path to a happier life and enlightenment. In other circles I am known as Buddha.

Step 2: Love the community, and play a part in it.

Yea you play in tournaments, spam the chatbox or you may have even been on this site lurking for a year without a single post (opps, hi!) But how many of you can actually say YOU played a part in building this community rather than the community played a part for you? For a starters, it looks like all these guys with cool pictures can!



Check out these sick ballers!! Community work is highly appreciated and respected and unlike some other communities, it appears to be rightfully recognised here at sc2sea. Don't just sit back and enjoy playing in a tournament, maybe help organise/host one for a change next time. Don't just win the monies, maybe donate to the community fund once in a while like the amazing HuT, who donated a week BEFORE playing in a CO, which he then went on to win! And what did he do right after that? He donated his winnings straight back. Mucho respect for you HuT. Anyway I'm sure the vast majority of us don't play for money, but rather for the pride of being the best. Here is the donate link!

Step 3: Add Value: Put effort into your posts!



It might be ironic seeing Pinder & Benji sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g but the reality is they both spent that extra little time putting effort into their posts for the enjoyment of us readers. Pinder mostly with his humorous wit well worthy of his cruel entertainer achievement (is he the only one with it?) and benji going that extra mile churning out tons of community content for us to enjoy (I personally loved that road trip video series the most) They are both great examples and so are all the article writers like cute, ridiculisk del, etc that produce such enjoyable content for us to read.

This comes to the end of my D3 beta key article submission.

He was praising light and used a good picture of him (which light sent me himself) from his SC2SEA whos who profile, im sure light will be cool with it. I believe his comments were a reference to this post
