So without further adue...check out this news from around the world. That right everyone, the legends Bisu, Jangbi, Jaedong, and Fantasy have been directly invited by Blizzard to attend Blizzcon 2011. The reason? No one knows yet, although current speculation is that these players will be playing some SC2 show matches during the convention.
With the Blizzcon Invitational (featuring some of SEA's very own, Andrew 'mOOnGLaDe' Pender, and Thomas 'Jazbas' Cho) and now the possibility of watching Jaedong play, nows the time to grab the virtual ticket as to not miss out on some awesome SC2 tournament action.
October 5th saw the latest team to strike out of Europe. "Type II" Gaming based in Nordrhein Westfalen, Germany. On top of that, they've got 2 Koreans and a training house! Their goal is to bring the Korean practice style to Europe and develop a strong team. The team currently consists of 6 people, 4 players and 2 managers and have a few sponsors;
Destiny, a long time community favorite has been teamless since the unfortunate disbanding of American team ROOT gaming. Fortunatly for his legion of fans he'll be joining his new team mate SaSe on Quantic Gaming. Sase likewise only joined Quantic recently after an extended period of being teamless.
Destiny had this to say;
Quote:
"I'm incredibly excited to be a part of Quantic Gaming now. I've been wanting to take my game to the next level for a while now, and it seems like Quantic is looking to step up their game as well. I've spoken to Mark quite a bit in the past couple of weeks and I definitely feel like Quantic's goals are directly in line with my own."
Likewise SaSe recently made the switch to Quantic;
Quote:
“After too long of a time without a team I have finally found one. Quantic approached me in a very professional way like no other team has ever done before. After days of meetings and discussions we finally agreed on a contract. I am so excited about this team and the best part is that I am just the first step of what is to come! I would like to thank Ben and Nicholas for spotting me. Also a huge thanks to Mark for being the coolest CEO I have spoken to when it comes to gaming! Quantic Gaming fighting!”
Good luck to both Destiny and SaSe at their new home Quantic Gaming.
