Hey Everyone!!!

Well I wanted to touch base with you all and give you an update

The travel agent is working hard to find a solution to get you all to the gold coast this weekend.

A huge hurdle we have hit today, Qantas and Jetstar are having strikes on Friday!!! You have no idea the amount of pain this is causing, there are only three groups who fly direct to gold coast, and two of them are Qantas and JetStar.

So I want you to know we are working on a solution! I was hoping to be emailing everyone tonight with the flight + accom details, but this latest issue has meant that we need more time to organise stuff with Virgin!

Please be aware though it is going ahead! We just need to ensure we can get everyone there! I don’t want to communicate something and then have to back track later.

I know there is a lot of anxiety around this, but please be rest assured that is happening! You’ll be provided your flights + accom details ASAP

Currently all I can mention is that you should all prepare to travel Friday times are still not 100% sure of, but we are aiming to have everyone on the Gold Coast by Friday night.

Any issues, call me, txt me, skype me, email me, or ignore me.

Morning Everyone,

Well … overnight … I’ve got 80+ emails all related to the costs and organising travel + accommodation for the 40+ people we have coming to the national final (just competitors)

So here’s an update given to me this morning by the tls General Manager David Powell
“we are working to get all the flights and accommodation locked away. tricky process due to the large amount of travel into and out of the GC that weekend but that we should have all travel details out to people tomorrow morning. “

So what does this mean? Today we should have all your flight details sent to you individually.

To give you guys an idea, there is roughly $19,000.00 worth in Airfares being organised just for WCG Participants, not to mention me and the rest of the tls team as well as others. So we are trying to ensure we get it right the first time, cause there is no “second” chance when organising this so late.

I’m aware that a lot of you are shitting yourselves, wondering if the tickets are ready I’m sorry for this, but we are working on getting this done ASAP! Hopefully the next email you receive from me should have your itinerary attached to it!

So for an update, CS guys are now e-thugging the admins vs chain emails, we all got our flight details and we leave at 6am saturday, return at 4am monday, tgun has <24 hours to get from syd to melb because thats where his flight leaves from, and i'm bringing tiny teddies for the bus.

You've had 4 months to organise and the only details we have on the comp is that it is apparently single elim and being run at 10-11pm on a Saturday night. Accommodation isn't booked yet and to top it all off we get to enjoy a 3am bus ride on a Monday morning to get home.

Glad our team all took a long weekend off work and other commitments for this.

Not to mention the 1.5k in cash and prizes your organisation still owes just to our team and your failure to reply to emails regarding them.
