Something I noticed with IEM is people outside of SEA don't know us at all. Sure its easy to sit back and be like 'How dare they not care about our scene at all' and be all alpha, but the reality is that following the SEA scene and knowing the players and teams takes a lot of time. Until now.
Myself and Zepph will do a weekly show, so people can tune in for 5-10 minutes every week, and get caught up on what is happening in SEA, so people that actually want to learn more can put a little time in, and if other regions just don't care at all, then well there isn't much more we can do besides start winning their money and taking their women.
Episode 0 is a general introduction to SEA and the Pro teams here, and is a 1 off just to give non SEA people a quick rundown of our scene
If you have any suggestions for format changes, players you want featured or anything at all please post in this thread ^_^. If YOU want to be featured, contact me (Please be good).
Some parts of the video (ep 0) you go REALLY soft and I have no idea what you're mumbling about :/ May want to keep at a constant, clear volume throughout? Sounds like maybe you're moving away from your mic at points or something.
And I found it weird to be looking at a Battlecruiser the whole way when you're talking - may be good to have on-screen animation? E.g. when announcing results can have a Powerpoint-like thing where the actual results appear, kinda hard to keep track of what you're saying when there's no text support. (EDIT: Yes, do what you did for player feature bit about Jazbaz)
No doubt, this will take more effort to prepare, but ... yea I just found it odd.
Seems like just a podcast for most of it, apart from the replay.
May want to include more details in the Description so that people will know what the content is about so they bother watching!
Loved the replay feature! Nice and concise, interesting and exciting to watch

Yea, I noticed the volume thing after I recorded it, prolly just from me turning slightly away from my mic, I didn't really want to re-record due to the amount of stuffups we did doing it the first time :P
More text and such takes time, like you said, i'll see if I can setup a few templates to make it easier next week.
As Crazerk mentioned, there volume is unstable, Benji goes up and down all the time.
When discussing events, it is common practice to show footage from actual games with best scenes in the background. Guess it would take a lot more time though. If you don't want to pre-record videos, might do it day-9 style, where he talks into webcam, then alt-tabs into a replay to comment on. Still better than a battlecruiser.
As far as tourney results go, a bracket screenshot or other visual material would be nice.
And I loved the accent.

Yeah like what crAzerk said, some parts in the episode 0 has some sound issues, though it became clearer later in the video. And yeah, looking at the Battlecruiser isn't that amusing. I find myself clicking on Facebook after awhile and not concentrating at all. Maybe a video of both of you on the bottom left while doing this I guess?
In episode 1, still feels plain looking at the Battlecruiser. I think when talking about the results, show it on the screen? Some of us don't speak English as our primary language so some text help would be great, especially when talking and commentating. Its just a suggestion. I know majority here speaks and understand English pretty well. I like how you do highlights for the replay. Really nice and exciting!
These are my feedbacks I'm sorry if its too noobish D:
I'd suggest to try and line up the featuring of SEA pros alongside international events that they participate in. For example if I'd known about this sooner I would've easily suggested that the first 'Featured Player' be PiG or iaguz since they're currently participating in IEM, so peoples' memories of them are fresher.

I did Jaz first as he will be at Blizzcon in a couple of weeks
You kinda need something more to look at, even if its just recordings of your faces while you guys talk, or some random game play of the people you are talking about.
Its just hard to sit there and do nothing but listen to your voice for more than 30 seconds.

I get that.
It's just that I don't feel that in a few weeks, people are going to tune into Blizzcon, see Jaz and then think 'Oh, I don't know anything about him' and then search for previous SEA weeklys to find out more information on him.
I suppose in hindsight since you've done the videos they can be easily linked back to when people want an introduction, though. It depends on how fast you feel news expire, because obviously if Jaz has done stuff in the weeks before Blizzcon that's worth mentioning, then the video would be a little outdated.

This is a great idea Benji, considering that a lot of sponsors/gaming teams are looking to expand into the SC2 SEA scene. This will save time trying to explain to people the 'who's who' of our community. I can't wait to see more!
