As celebration for our 1 year birthday, we shall host a fun series of events / prizes. The first of which will be a Race War Tournament featuring the best of SEA which will be held Next Sunday, featuring all Star Teams made up of 8 players for each race.
Date: 4th September, Sunday - 5PM SGT, 7pm AEST Format: GTSL All kill, Round Robin
The Protoss Team led by Team Captain xGkingLight is now confirmed and finalised.
sc2sea.com: How do you think your Protoss team will fare and who would you identify as the star players?
xGkingLight: It is unfortunate to say that in recent times, Protoss have not been doing so well overall on the SEA server. However, starting onwards from this Race War, with ours cries of help finally heard by David Kim, I firmly believe we will win this Race War convincingly, there shall be a reckoning!
My confidence in our victory lies in our very solid lineup of star players from all over SEA. I have no doubt that we will see many innovative plays/builds stemming from these creative warriors of Aiur. With myself, Azz, and Soulman leading the charge, we march to victory!
sc2sea.com: Which team are you most afraid of and why!
xGkingLight: All three opposing lineups are quite intimidating as they feature some very well-known and solid players. However, we have no fear, as our duty is unyieding to purge the Zerg and have our Terran slaves bow to Protoss masters. Glory is Eternal!
As a sneak preview we are releasing a replay pack of one of the Star Members of the Protoss team, SoulmanfOu. Soulman aka Master currently sits on top of the SEA Grandmaster ladder with an astounding 1,002 points (150 points ahead of the next) and 156-40 stats (80% Win Ratio.) Soulman and Light are the only Protoss in the Top 20 ladder at the moment.
Check out his replay pack which features games against the best of SEA from mOOnGLaDe to SlayersDragon and thanks to soulman for sharing it with us! Expect something similar for the Terran, Protoss and Random teams shortly!
Unfortunately the race wars team and invites were already sent out before Melbourne WCG. Pinder was inactive for a long time so people (myself included) weren't sure of his current level of skill. However, he definitely put up a strong showing there and if this WCG happened earlier he would have been invited.
