Keeping in mind this is concept work only atm. It's a prototype and we know very little about it.

Gaming on the Razer™ Switchblade is an experience unlike that found on standard PCs and laptops when the dynamic tactile keyboard presents the control-scheme of any video game visually and right at your fingertips.

When you start up any game, the keyboard intelligently recognizes the game's specific interface and transposes the interactive visual elements such as command icons and control schemes right to the mechanical keys. Depending on the situation in-game, the keyboard can also change on-the-fly to give you only the controls you need.

And as the tactile keys are transparent to a vibrant, crisp display panel underneath, you'll see those familiar icons in their original art design, bringing the game interface closer to you.

What do you think this means for the future of PC gaming? Im excited since now I'll be able to play PC games on the bus on the way to work....HAHA

There's some screenshots of this thing working with War 3, WoW, League of Legends (So I imagine HoN aswell) and even though they're probably photoshopped StarWars: The Old Republic.

I am excited!

Edit: You can attach a mouse to this thing too apparently...SC2 anyone?

Wasn't this concept stuff out for some time now? I think it's been abt a year. It's undoubtedly possible, with mobile tablets running dual cores now, but the quality remains to be seen. Graphics card remains a key problem.

This is pretty cool. You would need a mouse for any SC2 but for WoW and the like it would brilliant.

SC2 would be frustrating and difficult to play competitively on a mobile platform.

I have a really powerful tablet that I use at work, but as ivan mentioned - video card is a serious issue. I tried playing SC2 on my tablet (using stylus to play - no keyboard) during my few months without a PC and it was near-impossible. All I could do was 6 pool or proxy gate, attack move and hope for the best.

I lost all hope once i saw the guy demonstrate playing warcraft 3. Laggy + failing to highlight units + unresponsive touch screen?

Maybe if you could attach it to a external monitor then it'll work out good for sc2. The current monitor would be too small.
