When you purchased the item, you were only purchasing a right to use the game (not the actual intellectual property), which is deemed to be bound to the original user. It would be a breach of the EULA.

That and your friend would also be forced to give up his entire BNET account, if he has any other games on it, then those would have to be included as well.

Unless he has never set up a BNET account yet.
