Our ventrilo server is being underused so i thought i'll make a news post highlighting the quick 5 step guide to connect to our ventrilo server in 2 minutes. This guide is for people who have not used ventrilo before and would like to start. Its an awesome way to chat with friends, your clan mates, and to be used in AT team games. As of now feel free to use the ventrilo for anything SEA starcraft 2 related. If you like me to set up a private channel for your clan or friends, just PM me. It was quite pricey, rented it for a year and its a 50-max person server which ends in November. If its not being used much it doesn't make sense to extend it so lets hope people use it and it gets popular during the next 5 months!

Step 1:
Download the Client Version of ventrilo for your OS at their official page here


Step 2:



Open Ventrilo, click on the circled arrow to make a new profile

Step 3:



Click New and enter your name u want displayed. You can leave everything else blank.

Step 4:



To enter the server details click on the arrow next to "server" as in step 2. Fill this in as above.
Host: 203.211.138.162 Port: 3871 Password: nirvana

After that click ok. Then click connect and bam you should be connected to the server. Done!

Step 5:



Configure your input control. You can 1) Have a key to press as circled. What you say will only be transmitted when you hold down the key. OR
2) Have it automatically transmit your voice when it picks up sound.

I dont think the server is up anymore. i tried logging into it and it got stuck at contacting server. So i think its down now.
