I think this should be the new standard for 7RR. lol
Now if only I know how to stack all my drones properly for it. Click on a far away mineral patch making all your drones mine there and in that critical second, rally them towards the enemy base? ^^

Ok I figured this out, you need to right click a mineral patch so they're more or less stacked, then you right click the opposite end so they form a neat line as they walk over the other side, then QUICKLY move ur cam over to the opponent's base and right click THE MINERALS.
If you right click ground they'll spread immediately. But click on the minerals means they maintain their 0 collision size and move.
So the timing you need is to click on the opponent's minerals the moment your drones are stacked up
I worked out a super fast way of making them stack like that, I think it'd work for ANY amount of drones. The bad side is that you need gosu mouse accuracy and speed. Even then, I dont know if there are any other circumstances other than a 7RR where it'd be effective, so the zerg in the video clearly is an expert rusher (lol). But its a bit hard to accurately show, without someone saying that its impossible to do the way I am doing it.
Do you guys want me to make a video on it? My last cast had bad quality, so I might need to buy new programs first.
how much faster can you do it apart from what I said? Haha. Just right click on a mineral patch to stack them up and right click to the destination mineral patch immediately when they stack up.
Just tested it out in a custom, pretty easy todo, just spam click your workers into one mineral patch, click the furthest away mineral patch in your base, then quickly click the opponent's mineral patch.

I can never get it perfect with 20 drones if you do it that way because:
1. They dont all arrive at the mineral patch at the same time.
2. They all start to split off after maybe half a second of being at the mineral patch.
3. If you right click a mineral patch really fast, you'll never have them all in one spot, it'll be more of an arc.
Im talking about getting it next to perfect efficiently.
1. They dont all arrive at the mineral patch at the same time.
- That's why I had to bounce them around my own mineral patches once or twice to get them more or less stacked already
2. They all start to split off after maybe half a second of being at the mineral patch.
Timing is off then
3. If you right click a mineral patch really fast, you'll never have them all in one spot, it'll be more of an arc.
no idea what you mean, mine was pretty stacked
But yea this isn't very efficient because of #1, looking forward to hearing about your method
i didnt get it exactly on one drone but i probs had all 16 in about 2 drones. i saved his mineral patch to a camera view (ctrl+f5), spammed right click my minerals, press f5 bang right click his minerals and there ya go. hard trick is to time pressing f5 JUST as ur drones get to ur mineral patch, otherwise they spread out a bit on the mineral patch. also, having them PRE spread out before u right click ur minerals help as the difference in parth difference between them helps them bunch up more say than if u had them in a line facing the mineral patch if u get what i mean.
