Threads on TL are closed whenever one comes up, but this is the leaked heart of the swarm trailer.
Apparently this shouldn't be shown until the 31st of May but it's amazing and I'm sure it's not the full trailer so I thought I would share it first.
At the end of the trailer you see the SC2 Logo with Purple fire behind (zerg creep color). Very very very zergish cool.
It's moreso because TL is closely affiliated as a Blizzard fansite. sc2sea isn't. :P
Besides, we're not the ones hosting the video. If they want it removed, they should contact youtube.
they haven't contacted youtube because they don't want it totally removed. They want people to think they want it totally removed. Ask yourself? Who in their right mind would risk a job at blizzard to leak a 45 second teaser that is going to be out in a week anyway.
This is just a tactic to build excitement likely for when the full trailer - maybe even with some in game footage comes out E3.
Though tbh I can't get excited after the massive fail campaign of Wings of Liberty. wtb real writer please
It's a video game bro. Remember when games didn't even have stories, voice acting or cinematic video? Your expectations are way too high, stop taking things for granted!
stop making excuses dox
games didn't have cinematics or complex stories because of the technical limitations of the time
Those limitations are gone so there is no excuse especially given the time and money sunk into wings of liberty
Not everyone has standards for the games they play but I and many do. Gameplay was awesome but if blizzard spent less time trying to emulate "cool" movie moments - without actually understanding what makes those moments cool - less time loading the game with memes and more time writing even half decent characters and dialogue you would have a game so much better than it is.
Not even going into those fail "choice" moments TT blizzard could have made this game truly amazing but they took the wow route
Meh I kind of liked the Wings of Liberty campaign. The story wasn't amazing, but I think they did a great job of creating the feeling that you were inhabiting a living breathing universe. It felt like life went on outside of Raynor's ship.
Its kinda clear now why kerrigan goes back to being a zerg after Raynor turned her back to human. She was forced to, because the dominion still wanted her dead. We can assume this since kerrigan is standing in the science lab from WoL, and Raynor was rushing to her, as if to stop her from doing something. Why did the dominion STILL want her dead? Well, Mengsk had been trying for ages to kill her (Tychus Findlay), and didn't actually achieve his goal while she was zerg. Also, the dominion is portrayed to be similar to the confederacy, in the way that they are meant to be complete assholes. Which brings Kerrigan on an even more recent revenge storyline with Mengsk, leading to the death of Mengsk. Yes, I saw the leaked ending as well...

Making excuses? I think the words you were looking for was "logical opinion."
The rest of your post is rubbish, sorry. If you're looking for a deep story, there's plenty of movies and books out there for you. If you're looking for an entertaining game to play... hey, look who's delivering.
You're saying because game didn't have good story before (perheps you are referring to 8 bit era?) that developers shouldn't bother doing story today? How is that not making excuses for poor storytelling?
Not only is it unfathomably incorrect I could speed the next 30 minutes just listing games that do an amazing job telling a story.
But lets look at red dead redemption or uncharted 2. These were both games aiming for that similar blockbuster style. (i am referring to story telling) those games are awesome because they have really well developed, written and interesting characters.
If decent story isn't important to you then so be it - i did say in that post that not all people hold such high standards.
But calling my post rubbish and your opinion logical is flawed. You're entitled to your opinion however the logic you explained is out right wrong. You could have said anything along the lines of "story isn't important to me at all because I just want the gameplay" thats fine.
However saying my post is rubbish and only your opinion is right or even logical is plain retarded.
My point was the game's single player was a massive failure to me and any others who enjoy good storytelling and characters as part of the game. I'm not one of those in it for the achieves guys so in order to keep playing and feel anything I have to be interested in the story and the characters.
You can say all you want that games shouldn't have story and in response i just say Heavy Rain was ******* awesome so stuff your "logic" up you arse and get with the real world.
More time spent on this game that any movie and a similar sum of money why shouldn't I have high expectations?
