Hi guys my name is toroz ingame. Past 4 ladder matches i have been up against 4 tosses, all using similar builds (1gate stargate/2gate stargate/3gate stargate) I have lost every time, and im getting really frustrated because i cant do anything about it. I was doing fine until his phoenix's showed up and just picked up my queens and i couldnt even do anything.

Get 2+ queens an transfuse and also spore colonies until you can get your hydras out to counter.

Hydra ling is usually the unit mix you want to be going for vs this.

To get to that, get 2 spines at natural, one spore at main+natural mineral lines and 2 more queens. Link your bases with creep for queen movement, and get lair up to get your hydra den out. You might need more spores/spines at the front based on your opponent's unit count/agression.

Ling bane can work out well in situations like this to destroy their gateway army, since they wont have as many sentries to forcefield out banes and lings can clean up the rest. Phoenixes wil have to pick the ling bane up individually, which would take longer than roaches to clean up. Unfortunately, voids own, so you need to keep near your queens and spores generally.

the 2 extras can be used for creep spread and defense, you can heal any queens that are picked up until you get spores down
