Long time lurker first time poster (apparantly - im sure i did a hello post a while ago :\)
anyway lol... im trying to think alot more about my losses. Trying to really improve etc. I was mid masters on sea last season, havent gotten back in there yet. im either not playing as good, or the competition is stiffer ... it certainaly feels that way anyway.
Anyway - the protoss in this game (i am zerg) FE's, and we both macro up. I snipe collossus as they come out, this is usually my problem with P - 6 collossus & VR at the end and theyre army simply overwhelms me with AOE (protoss deathball!)
Every now and again (as in this game) A P will just have a few collossus, and when they go down I find myself with a bajillion stalkers still up. I do very nearly take his army out, but just as my broodlords come out to completely counter his army i have no wall of roaches left (he basically pushes in at the end and when i dont have time to re-make my units im toast)
I have watched the replay and the only thing i can come up with is that i may have had -slightly- (3-5???) too many corruptors for his numbers of collossus, but i dont think that made an enormous difference... I also had 20~ too many drones. (about 101). I usually only get 80 though, so this was my own bad and from what I can tell, a one off.
But besides these points (include these if you think they were the focal point of my mistake/s through the game, please) what else could i have done better?
PS: Also, at the very beginning I over committed to his rush. I scouted him with an OL and saw only 1 gate and was a bit perplexed to his early pressure - good job on him for adding that in, nice touch. But could I have reacted a bit less to this to get my macro going faster? Or was what I did justified by having his units in my natural ..
