The Masters Cup is a single elimination style tournament for Starcraft 2, Heart of the Swarm. $120 prize on offer to the winner, $50 2nd prize, $25 3rd. $215 prize pool*! There is also 300 sea power rank points up for grabs.This event is sponsored by Eddie, eSports SG, Xmashed Gear, Silicon Sports, and sc2sea.com

SEA Power Ranks is the system we shall use to determine seeding. We shall be allocating points for placing highly in each Masters Cup, wT Weekly, and other online sea tournaments. These are then added to a players career total points to work out our tournament seeds. Masters Cup is one of, if not the toughest event in our region, so points will be given from 1st to 16th place to reward those who finish highly, but might just fall short of the 1st-3rd cash prizes. It also serves to reward regular participation.

Depending upon future donations/sponsorship this may continue or be replaced by some other sort of prize, eg hardware. It shall be trialed this Masters Cup, as always, feedback welcomed. The prize draw shall be done live on stream using http://www.random.org/. If the number generated, matches your randomly seeded number on challonge.com, you're the winner! (Except if you no showed and got walked over in the early rounds, then we'll redraw, as it is designed to reward participants)

Date: Sunday, 5th of May, 2013.
Time: 6pm AEST, 4pm SGT
Location: SEA Battle.net region.
Tournament Eligibility: SEA residents + citizens only. You must be in Diamond, Masters or Grand Masters League on any server. Lower players will be disqualified.
How to Sign Up: Post your SEA ID, country + account most known by (If different from registered account, eg NA, KR ID).

Rules and Regulations

· All results must be PMed to DevianT.811 or TAXanT.665 in-game.
· Players who are 15 or more minutes late will be disqualified, if a replacement cannot be fount their opponent will be given an automatic win.
· If any player disconnects occur the match is to be resumed via replay. If a player drops twice on the same game, (G1,G2,etc), it is their opponents right to take the map win, If both players don't agree to resume the map again.
· Any disputes will be handled by the Admins after reviewing all associated replays.
· Any inappropriate behaviour will result in a disqualification.
· Players must have their own account, playing on a friends is not allowed
. You are allowed to switch races
. If you are lucky enough to win two SEA Masters Cups in a row, you must take a break from the next SEA version. Just so we can spread the wealth and glory around. International editions are exempt.
. Non SEA residents/international players can join every 3rd 'open' Masters Cup. The 2 beforehand and 2 following are just for SEA players to compete amongst themselves.
