-We shall be trialing Best of 3's starting with the Round of 64, rather than our standard R32.

The Masters Cup is a single elimination style tournament. $100 prize on offer to the winner, $45 2nd prize, $30 3rd. $195 prize pool*! There is also 300 sea power rank points up for grabs. This event is sponsored by Eddie, Silicon Sports, and sc2sea.com

SEA Power Ranks is the system we shall use to determine seeding. We shall be allocating points for placing highly in each Masters Cup + wT Weekly. These are then added to a players career total points to work out our tournament seeds. Masters Cup is one of, if not the toughest event in our region, so points will be given from 1st to 16th place to reward those who finish highly, but might just fall short of the 1st-3rd cash prizes. It also serves to reward regular participation.

Even if you are eliminated early be sure to stick around, watch the high quality games, and listen out for who will win (It may well be you!). Purpose of this is to encourage player participation, and offer a small reward for those who fail to place, as every game is of a high level. Depending upon future donations/sponsorship this may continue or be replaced by some other sort of prize, eg hardware. It shall be trialed this Masters Cup, as always, feedback welcomed. The prize draw shall be done live on stream using http://www.random.org/. If the number generated, matches your randomly seeded number on challonge.com, you're the winner! (Except if you no showed and got walked over in the early rounds, then we'll redraw, as it is designed to reward participants)

Date: Sunday, 13th of January, 2013.
Time: 6pm AEDT, 3pm SGT
Location: SEA Battle.net region.
Tournament Eligibility: You must be in Diamond, Masters or Grand Masters League on any server. Lower players will be disqualified.
How to Sign Up: Post your SEA ID, country + account most known by (If different from registered account, eg NA, KR ID).

Rules and Regulations

· All results must be PMed to DevianT.811 or TAXanT.665 in-game.
· Players who are 15 or more minutes late will be disqualified, if a replacement cannot be fount their opponent will be given an automatic win.
· If any player disconnects occur the match is to be replayed. Players can appeal and send the replay to an admin if they believe one player was significantly ahead/behind. It is then up to the discretion of the referee to decide whether; A) the game is to be replayed, or B) player X/Y is to be awarded the win. . If a player drops twice on the same game, (G1,G2,etc), it is their opponents right to take the map win, If both players don't agree to replay the map again.
· Any disputes will be handled by the Admins after reviewing all associated replays.
· Any inappropriate behaviour will result in a disqualification.
· Players must have their own SEA account, playing on a friends is not allowed
. You are allowed to switch races
. If you are lucky enough to win two SEA Masters Cups in a row, you must take a break from the next SEA version. Just so we can spread the wealth and glory around. International editions are exempt.
. Non SEA residents/international players can join every 3rd 'open' Masters Cup. The 2 beforehand and 2 following are just for SEA players to compete amongst themselves.

Average viewers was 59, which was at a max of 67 during what I think was a game between Fenner and Fenneth
Maximum concurrent viewers was 86 during what I think was when Poker was playing against mGGSouth (not sure on that, Twitch analytics time indexes suck more than a prostitute vacuum cleaner)
Unique Visitors: 960 in total, max concurrent uniques was 240 which occurred during hour 2 of the broadcast
