The Collegiate Starleague have announced their next venture into legitimizing college level competition with the announcement of the
Azubu Collegiate Champions!
The new global focused league is open to all students currently enrolled in a North American, European, or Asian/SEA undergraduate or graduate programs. Teams must have a minimum of five verified players before entering the league. Players are cleared for participation by supplying an official school email address.
How to Register
Registration opens October 2nd, 2012 for both games and all regions. Thanks to Azubu, there is no registration fee or split recreational-competitive division!
Starting October 2nd, team coordinators will create and register their team at www.cstarleague.com.
Each student will register an account on www.cstarleague.com AND www.AZUBU.com. We will verify student IDs and AZUBU IDs to ensure that all players comply.
To complete registration, each team must have a minimum of FIVE valid players, a Facebook group, and AZUBU accounts for each player. Note that the season will require 5 players, but the playoffs will require 7 players.

The regular season will split teams into separate groups, by region, for round robin play using Bo5 CSL format. Following that, the top teams in each group as well as wild cards based on record/ELO will advance into a single elimination playoff bracket by region, using Bo7 CSL format. The top 2 NA, the top 1 EU, and the top 1 Asia team will be flown to the live grand finals in southern California Feb 2-3.
To play for the Asia region will be on the KR/TW server, so competitors must have valid accounts in order to participate.
