So we all know by now not to expect too much from legendaries and set items but I still think they are extremely fun to find if for nothing else then the novelty factor.

I just found my first legendary in act 1 normal on hardcore mode while running with the guys from the DiabloHerald. It was suitably awesome...

I havent found any....currently in act 1 hell

I think I might have found one or two but due to level reasons etc, it showed up as a magic item....with the flavour text at the bottom, Got one this morning that looked like a broken oar had something to do with kurast. There was another one too with a reference to griswold.

Those are actually easter egg items. There's a thread regarding those items as well as the Black Rock Ledgers, very interesting read if you like conspiracy theories and mysteries!

Only found one legendary so far, leant it to a mate I was playing with until he was done with.

His account was comprimised following day. *Sigh.*

My second legendary item.

The first one (Fletchers Pride) I sold for 50k as it was just terrible, this one unfortunatly is also garbage for its level. I am running with a DH so nearly wet myself when I saw it was a crossbow. To be honest I didnt even get to equip it as the one I had was much better.

WHY blizzard do you make us get SO excited over such bad gear.

Only one of my 'Legendaries' have been decent - an Andariel's Visage with 100+ int, IAS and a socket. The rest are ... -_-' And I got super-excited about the crossbow. Might need to equip it just to see the attack/projectile animation.

These are what I've picked up so far. Note the Pendergrasps are a craftable item that I got from a Legendary Plan drop.

The POX FAULDS are FLOURO LIME GREEN. Matches well with nothing in the game.

I had my first legendary item in act 2 normal and it was crap and also very low level, then when I started a new character got a legendary item in act 1 normal but again, low level and wasn't that great.

Keep it, it's an easter egg item that might be of use later. That's the theory anyway. Something to do with a hidden dungeon, the Lost references in Black Rock Ledger pages and other misc items

Yeah, another one yet to be discovered. May or may not be true =P

Finally got my first legendary!!!! Sooooo excited.

+105 Strength
+26 Vit
+12 Fire resist
+11 resist all elements
+4% life
plus 1 socket

Not bad for me, considering my 2 toon are lvl 46 and 48 or so....and one of them is a barb!

After about 130 hours..I finally found one in act 2 of inferno!

The gavel of judgement! Salvaged it....forgot it was not level 60 and got some stupid encrusted hooves for it lol.

After playing for around 50 hours, I found 2 legendaries today within a space of 10 minutes around each other while I was farming in inferno with friends

Well, I guess not too many playing these days. But I had one of the most satisfying sessions last evening, and towards the end got this:

Not quite as good as the two socketed ones, and wouldve been cooled if it had +dex instead of intelligence, but still felt quite nice!

My story with Diablo has been a frustrated story .... I enjoyed myself until hell. Then it begun to be boring to get to 60. But I was levelling, hoping to be in that wonderland of level 60 and getting crazy stats.

Then I strated to climb slowely, farming Act 1 sooo many times. I get a decent stuff but still I was weak. I managed to get myself to solo Act 2 and then farm Act 3. But I was not finding great stuff like my friend. He found 2 objects of 37 and 20 Millions and got plenty of stuff. I was still trailing (48k dps and glass cannon) and finding nothing.

Finally when I returned from my vacations and after another deadly Act 3 in group where I found nothing, last Monday, I decided to stop Diablo definitely.

Then, then my friends the day after, they decided to make that patch. And Tuesday saw me gain my first level of Paragon and at long last end my long search for a ultimate loot. It was after the Siege Breaker, before Cydae, in Hell itself that I saw a orange tiny book drop on the floor ...

I ask my teamate "Is it good ?" "Dunno". Then after our run I checked the price and ... MOTHER OF F. GOD 100 MILLION !! (Or 113€)

I even removed glass canon and got Prismatic Armor so I'm quite resistant. With 109% of MF + 21% MF from Paragon + 5 Nephalem, I got enough MF to make those run more interesting than just Paragon levelling.

I decided to get gold coins and become Diablo rich
