Steam was kinda bonked today, I couldnt systems ID, hell it couldnt even find mine, their servers are quite stressed I guess.

For the time being atleast try using an email id or something if you want to get the key immediately. Whats more you wont have wait for the person to add you and then send the key. Just make sure you get the email id right.
