At this stage only two teams that can win the league remain. Ironically it was the two teams that played the SEAL opening match that kicked off this season!! In that match it came down to the final map of the final ace game and it as exhilarating moment where Mafia managed the clutch victory. xGking look like the favorites as they hold a 1 point lead with a better win/lost ratio in the event of a tie but upsets do happen! Do note that amazingly, these oh so important matchups this week all involve the teams in the top 4!! xGking aLt ToT and SPR. Both ToT and SPR will want a good result to secure their top 4 spot for the frogmite cup. Here is an analysis of what may happen in the final weeks matchup.
Scenario 1: xGking Beats ToT
xGking wins regardless of aLt's results.
Scenario 2: xGking Draws
aLt HAVE to beat SPR. With SPR being in fantastic form and winning their last few matches, this is no easy task. A draw would mean aLt finishes the league in #2 place.
Scenario 3: xGking Loses ToT
aLt HAVE to win SPR. They cannot draw as the map difference is too far ahead in xGking's advantage. xGking have never lost before but a comment by a certain someone that ToT are "free wins" might just fuel the Chinese team who joined the league as underdogs to cause an upset!
Previous SEAL#1 runner ups aLt look destined to become the MarineKingPrime of Clan Leagues. But then again, didn't MKP just win MLG?

The top 4 teams qualify for the $300 Frogmite Cup. Realistically any two of these teams could join xGking and aLt in the top 4 and there are like 20+ possible scenarios but basically it would also depend how inFi do in their 2 unfinished games. If they win their game vs herocraft and draw their final game vs TA (they can at best draw that) then they might squeeze in the top 4 too. The other final week matchups involving these teams are Mineski vs inFi and TA vs MiTH.
Fight for survival
Remember for Tier 1 to Tier 3 the bottom two teams have to play up/down matches with the top 2 teams of tier 2 to stay in the league next season. With MiTH gaining an important victory over EVE, it throws the doors right open and at the moment half the league still faces the possibility of relegation. That is how tightly contested the league has been this season! With every team winning and losing a game (besides xGking) its certainly no shame to be relegated as all teams have performed well and there are tons of games that could have gone either way and changed the entire fortune of the teams. Also, the promoted Tier 2 teams still have to fight with the Tier 1 teams to determine if they replace them.

Anyone can still go into the relegation part of the league with intense action in tier 3 going on best to avoid it. Keep going guys only a few weeks left and it's still anyone's game as to who gets 2nd for a chance at tier 1 with nRv wT iRl and crux all fighting for one spot. While at the other end every team but nRv and ons are possible to be relegated.
remember for walkovers you need an admin and to keep it mannered we are here manly for fun. as i said before if I have mucked up somewhere on bracket tell me please.

The two two teams enter up/down playoffs with the bottom teams of Tier 2 and the champion team wins the prizes and title! Iris Has already secured their spot but there is a three way tie between the other clans! Last week matchups for these clans are as follows:
ToT vs ToR IRIS vs crux
AsG vs nRv
Analysis: crux has already forfeited to Iris so they will be the first of the top 2 teams to get promoted. IMO the deciding match for the other spot will be be the winner of AsG vs nRv. If they draw, and ToT win their games then it goes to map differences in the tie break and things get interesting.

Unfortunately, both crux and HDMD-kT (they withdraw) have been relegated from Tier 3.
Two teams have stood head and shoulders above the rest of the competition all season and it comes as no surprise that these are the only two teams capable of taking first place. Terror Australis (TA) and KFC have traded places on top of the ladder all season, only points difference or unplayed games separating the two and the entire league has looked forward to the final week in which they clash with great anticipation. TA has the slight edge in for-against score and replacing the loss from KFC with a draw edges them 1 point ahead all things even, but they are yet to complete all their games from Week 8. They have to win both of those to leapfrog KFC and maintain their slender lead.
Both of these teams got to where they are based on similar characteristics - very strong depth, imposing ace players, good team work, reliability, and good leadership with both captains being among the most vocal in the league. However, they found their way to this state in very different ways. Coming in as an unknown, KFC proved that while their lineup was less impressive on paper than many teams, their NA server practice made them deceiptively formidable opponents. With several masters-level players in their lineup right from the start and limited players subbed in to an already strong lineup they proved to be the darkhorses of the contest and took it by the throat early on. TA of course is anything but unknown, but while always being mentioned has never really delivered in the lower tier leagues - getting disappointing results in the first PDCL and BSGCLs. While starting with a predominantly Diamond lineup featuring only a single Masters player, lots of players have improved over the course of the season and pushed their way in to the higher league such as Danny and Blitz. Couple this with some strong substitutions such as Zepph saw TA quickly rise to the top along with KFC.
The Thunder from Down Under
Terror Australis have finally hit their form in the lower tiers that everyone had expected from the start, being the only team not to lose a match all season. With strong performances in Tiers 4 and 5 the hard work of their entry level players and access to a wealth of talented sponsored players is really showing with all players putting in solid performances. They will be hard to shake for KFC as not only do they have arguably the best ace in TADivinity, they can field a lineup of entirely Masters players thanks not to savvy recruiting but player improvement with 3 of the players getting Masters promotions since joining. Carrying the pressure of poor past performances, upholding the TA name, and proving they are worthy of Masters league TA will arguably have more motivation than their opponents...
Finger-lickin' Good
KFC. While they may not have the history they are certainly battling for pride. Lots of the KFC players are from the rival country of New Zealand, and they would love nothing better than to get one up on the archetypal Australian team for bragging rights across the ditch. Another team boasting an almost all-Masters lineup a lot will ride on their choice of Ace player to try and topple the undefeated, mid-season MVP and likely TA Ace Divinity.
It is very possible that the result between these two teams will decide the winner of the entire league, and that would make for an exciting spectacle! I think the match will be decided on the performance of the ACE game. If Divinity can extend his win streak and keep his undefeated record the sheer depth of TA should shine through as the other matches fall in their favour. If KFC can overthrow the ace match tyrant then they have as good a chance as any to take the title and deny TA their second trophy from the prestigious SEACL series. This match will be streamed live, and on current form it really is anyone's match!

The top 6 teams in tier 4 will be eligible to play in the Playoff round, and above shows the realistic possibilities for a top 6 position. While mathematically there are at least 3 other teams who are a chance, based on recent performance and the trends of form the above eight are the likely contenders. Not much can be predicted as the field is quite open, but based on current form and recent win streaks it is hard to see ToT, FaDe 1 or AsG being bundled out of the playoffs. ZeroCraft, ipr and eXofG are in a similar position in that they have made a late surge to make themselves contenders for the playoffs. Not much can be taken from the matchups either, as most teams have one match they are favoured to win and one with another one of these top 8 teams so those will be cruical in determining who makes the cut. Obviously ToT, who are replicating the success of their big brothers in Tier 1, and FaDe 1 are guaranteed a place alongside KFC and TA but they would favour the higher seed positions so they have a chance of either getting a week rest or facing a lower seeded opponent.
Desperation
The wooden spoon awaits those populating the bottom of the table. The primary contenders for this dubious title are outlined below. HDMD started the season very strong consistently holding a top 4 position but have suffered from a lot of no-shows and forfeited games, as have NaZ. FaDe 2 and VB have always occupied the lower positions but the last 2 weeks have seen VB get their first wins of the season so if anyone is going to avoid the wooden spoon I'd have to tip it to be VB or HDMD if they decide to show up. Fortunately there is no relegations in Tier 4 so teams should maintain their place in the league if they can prove they can attend each round.
