Being at Chinatown I can test before the event and make sure its working, couldn't do that at Chatswood.

Nah wont change MC date. Has been every 4th Sunday for a year now. Besides good chance it could bump into/clash with another event if i did so, or i'd be busy that week, and would screw up the 3 GPD into MC monthly system. Keeping it as works. Shame for those Sydney players who might miss out on playing both this time, but the MC is for all of SEA. My rule is, if you are a regular of City Hunter events Ill let you pay on the day because I trust you but if are new Ill ask you to preregister, purely because there are limited spaces and I dont want to turn someone away when theres people who sign up and 'pay on the day' only to not bother showing up

usually theres around 1/2 M/GM 1/2 Diamond and below

Its seeded to make it fair, basically the bsg guys dont progress but most stick around after lunch playing customs, 4v4 or one of the other 100 games we have installed on our PCs

Yeah unfortunately I dont have the resources to hold multiple tier comps, but if SCII keeps growing the way it does I can see myself justifying two comps (naturally the BSGPD would have a much lower prize pool to try and prevent smurfing)

Because people like tgun, pokerface, Ninja and HuT etc all have better results in ESL Cups, SC2SEA CO's, Masters Cups, other LANs etc

I do it based on ladder rank, activity, and recent results, Riichard is tied for 8th most successful person at City Hunter LANs by coming 3rd in a tournament 12 months ago, its hardly relevant today as much as I

the guy otherwise you have guys like Incontrol who end up forever in the championship group stage purely because he came 4th in the 1st tournament lol

I think what Chris was trying to say is that there's never been any mention of seeding, or that CH was keeping score on who won what, so to just whip it out at the last second and go 'oh, here's how we're seeding this event' could be seen as "foul play" based on how the brackets ended up looking (like chris was out to favour people). If people knew seeding would apply to future events, they'd try harder/practice harder etc.
