On the 14th of September 2011, SC2SEA.com officially turned one. You can check out the very first post on the site here! http://www.sc2sea.com/showpost.php?p=1 Been really busy with house moving and stuff so I couldn't make the Birthday Announcement earlier but better late then never and the Race Wars was actually the event put together in advance to celebrate our birthday! A big thanks to Meatex for putting together this video for us!!

Veteris - The amazing coder who spent countless hours of his time responsible for our strea widget, as well as SEAbet and Code A tournament sign up system. He never once asked for a single cent and his kindness and hard work will never be forgotten.

/ iMaster & Mr Ray - The extremely generous benefactors of our tournaments. They love the game and sponsored our huge tournaments with 0 self-interest, often declining any publicity or advertisement. They simply loved starcraft and wanted us to have quality events, and generously provided the means to make that happen without expecting anything in return

Mezza & HDPhoenix - Mezza is someone who has an extremely high opportunity cost, yet has dedicated countless amount of hours to streaming and running events on sc2sea. It was largely because of him / zie / frogmite that the SG WCG recap / coverage / live event turned out the way it did HDPhoenix self-sponsored and organised a whole series of Singapore LAN events, as well as provided a ton of help to casters starting out. The Singapore / Casting scene would have been alot less active if not for Mezza & HDPhoenix.

JacziE - Working in the gaming industry, she could simply choose do the basic requirements off her job and then not care but instead her passion and concern for community drives way beyond her normal duties. This means she basically works 24/7 quietly behind the scenes, jetting around asia making things happen for us which would be otherwise impossible had it been someone else.

BakaInu & Zergtastic - Zergtastic for being the most dedicated Tournament Admin, always reliable and running the BSG weekly for a massive 8 months, a feat hard to hard to be matched. BakaInu for a similar level of dedication who has been with us from day 1 till now, and also the voice of reason / ban hammer who keeps the streets of sc2sea safe from the trolls, harbouring all the hate / anger that comes with the job silently by himself. A true hero!

Eddie - Not only has he ran the GPDs & MasterCups (with XanT) from the very beginning, they have also self sponsored them every single month!! Now on to the 8 Masters Cups, his consistent dedication of time / money every single week is nothing short of amazing. One of the biggest contributors to sc2sea as well as an excellent voice of reason & moderator.

DoX - No doubt the Superman of Australia, he actually FLIES to lan events and marches up to the organisers an just to make sure they are run right for the players. Self-sponsoring the $500 Dox Cup and running it all by himself, often providing great feedback and encouraging other organisers, all at the same holding a full time job + gf, there is no doubt that he is someone who truly loves the community and wants to help it develop anyway he can and the Superman title is well worthy!

crAzerk, Cute & Tom - crAzerk for the crazy amount of initiative and follows ups done. He is single handedly the driving force behind the article writing team in sc2sea, helping to organise, schedule, train and vet articles. Also in the Article team is Cute who is probably the Star at the moment with such a flair for writing, and another honourable mention is Tom for his fantastic series of well researched articles. Thank you guys for all the content you have produced!

Maynarde & Nemo - I believe in just 2 months, Maynarde rose from simple forum user to Moderator. Never have I seen such an epic rise through the ranks but when someone of his substance comes along, the decision is easy. Not only known for extremely hilarious and well thought out / helpful posts, he has become extremely instrumental and now even takes on organisational duties, playing a huge part in making sure the BSGCL runs smoothly. Nemo is another fantastic new member who recently become our first non-SEA MVP, and we certainly hope more of our members like them appear! Both of them are role models / MVPs for the community.

Its hard to believe we are now already one year old! I hope we grow even more over the next year and with SC2SEA Tee shirts coming soon and Diablo 3 I am very much looking forward to what's in store for us in the future!
