When I was admin here we're numerous cases of people complaining about platinum players on NA server and this is why the rules were made to specify activity on SEA server. We made it clear NA server wasn't relevant.
As long as you were active on SEA and genuinely placed in BSG, you were good to go.
As a side note, I was concerned on Saturday night after a grand final match I played and watched the replay before continuing the series with my admin crown on. Was happy to continue the series. Lay off Wardi, his profile is genuine SEA BSG. I hope to meet him in the final again next Saturday.
My two cents.

From your point of view... which would be a nice fresh opinion i guess from when you were admin...
How many games you would consider as being "active" on SEA...
or better yet... what would be considered "active".
Edit: P.S if i get to play next week and not have to work.. you'll have to go through me first

When I wrote the rules I left the definition unclear on purpose so I could treat everyone on a case by case basis. Usually as long as they had recent games and had valid wins and losses on their profile against BSG players, they were good to play.
Asrath and I had a few chats about whether or not to bring in a number of required games per week but I was always against this since it automatically disqualifies people who just simply don't have the time to ladder as much as they would like (like myself)

Handling each one case by case basis can lead to issues where you are half way through a tournament and dont notice a smurf until its too late. Or the usual response "there is not enough evidence, he hasn't played enough games to compare" or something to that extent.

Suipr, although we are implementing a number of games, we're also at the same time perfectly fine with making allowances for players well known in the SEA community. The main point of the rule is to enforce activity and make sure players with the "I'll just go on SEA, play placement games, and lose all of them so I get bronze, and then win the BSG (when they're actually plat/dia)," mentality aren't allowed to play.
However, you're well known in the SEA community, enough so for us to be certain you're not a smurf, and you're actually BSG level, so you will be allowed to play nonetheless.
