If these are the complete changes, I'll be quite disappointed with the Monk changes.
The end-game item hunt seems more promising though, and there seems to be extra levels you can gain, kinda like the Prestige system in CoD.
Also seems like patch MIGHT hit on Tuesday. Wait and see. ^_^
And I just decided yeterday to stop Diablo 3 definitly after another Act 3 run of 3 hours without a single 100k+ item ...
Geez, I guess, they kept a customer.
Those new levels are absolutely awesome. At last you won't be killing monsters without any interest now. And whatever happens with the item hunt, your character still improves.
Buffs are very interesting to add diversity (for Wizards at least) and Ghom nerf was needed.
Haven't played this in months... might have another go at it when I get home internet back. The DH buffs look interesting. Is the rubber banding still an issue? Was still a big issue even after the patch that was supposed to have fixed it.
haven't had any real issues that warranted a concern with rubber banding on my side.
it was general boredom that made me stop.
so far, with the new levels, there is a new 'goal'. it's more of a passive goal as opposed to something you really want to work on.
the item hunt is "exciting" again because of the new legendaries and the loot quality has definitely improved by a fair bit.
as for the skill buffs, I wasn't convinced until i actually started using it. Seems to be good enough of a buff for me to use other skills now (monk). although i still think monks did not receive enough love.
many improvements to AH and general game play, such as increasing gem stack sizes from 30 to 100.
Blizzard did many things right in this patch, but i still feel they have some ways to go before making an extraordinary product.
The most hated thing for me in d3 is the hit lag, I dodge a bullet/hit, and I'm like 6 feet away from the place, but I still get hit, it still happens #alwaysonlinesucks.

The hit boxes in D3 are kind of overlarge too, so you might be experiencing what everyone does there.

Basically once an attack animation is started you cant escape it (there are some exceptions), But in my situation, there is a 300+ lag factor to take into account aswell, so if you vault away or use evasive fire to kite when the demon comes close, it takes 300ms to transfer, and within that if the demon goes into the attack animation, your caught, as once the attack animation begins, you cant escape it.

The item drops are much better with this patch and I can actually play Act 2 Inferno now. So hopefully some better loot will come my way in the form of Legendary and Set items. Haven't seen a legendary drop for alsmost 100+ hours.
Paragon Level 2 has also been attained this morning as well.
You need MF of some sort to boost drops, either switching before last hit or just wearing a MF set.
I was getting 1-2 legendaries every other day(4-5 hours each) with my 280 MF(No NV) set. 2 days of farming this new patch and already have a legendary xbow that is absolutely crap!(Sold for 5)

i'm not sure if this is viable because I didn't try it for paragon levels.
Go to Zoltan Kulle's shadow realm in act 2.
Spec WW/Sprint
Sprint through the entire dungeon, chaining as many of those shadow critters as possible and hope to get the longest kill combo you can.
Enjoy bonus XP.
I used this method to level from 50-60 really quickly
I don't think it works in the long run though, because I believe those mobs give significantly lesser XP than just killing elites.
