Adelscott's late gas expand build is really outdated and not at all recommended.
I practically go 3 gate robo into colossus every game. Basically if they hit a 7min blink stalker push you need 1 immortal, 8 minutes you need 2 immortals. Counter fast expansions with 2 colossus timing push w/o range. There are subtleties in any PvP build where you can eek out advantages everywhere from beginning to end, you basically just need to have a plan going in to a game to learn from what works and doesn't work and go from there.
Just saw the gate robo gate gate suggestions, this build dies to really aggressive 4gates and can't be disguised well enough to not die to regular 4gates.
If you are ok with precise builds, check this out. It's Liquid Tylers variations of Day 9's 10 gate fast Immortal build. Not sure how robust it is vs. other stuff, but it's designed to waste aggressive 4 gates. http://blip.tv/file/5266273
Also, this is worth a look. Day9 talks about finding the edge in PvP with the prominence of 4 gates. http://blip.tv/file/5360495
Rim there is a lot of good advice here and not worth adding much in the way of tactics from watching one of the replays I think you know your stuff.. you know how to scout you know a lot of the stratergies and you know how to play the game. I think what you do need to change is your confidence. It was stated earlier that you were confused and tried to tech to both Dt's and stargates.. I think you know this dosen't work My addvice is before you enter a game is to have a plan. so something like PVT= stalker blink push PVZ= fast DT PVP = 3 gate defend into expo. i think your biggest mistakes in these games was quite simply not having a plan or an idea before you went into the game.. majority of PVP is 4 gate yes but it can be defended with 3 gate and precise FF so if this is what you loose to a lot then before you enter a game your plan could be I am going to 3 gate defend and if he rushes then throw down a robo and defend his pressure. you really need to believe in your own strat and plan.. only alter your build if after scouting you see something that you wont be able to handle. play smart play aggressive and beleive in your own stratergy. ( tell yourself I am as good as Huk and I can handle anything my opponent throws at me)
Focus on the game.
Obtain info early on.
Use your chronoboosts when you need them.
Read what your opponent wants to do based on the info you have.
Gateways should become warpgates asap.
All units should be at proper locations in case of engagement.
Test your oopponent's ramp to see if he has sentries.
Execute based on what your opponent does rather than preplanned builds.

How do you deal with a zealot/stalker poke when you have no units? How do you deal with 2 pylons inside of your base warping units in while you don't have an immortal out?
