Did you still have your base left? You could still churn out units?
This is a legitimate strategy. Sucks to be on the receiving end, but comebacks are possible if there has been a base trade. If there has not been a base trade and he gets you to gg out, then he won, plain and simple.
Next time you get a game like this where you have obviously won, but it is getting dragged out, just grind him into the ground. Take an expansion, macro up and cover the map in your units. Eventually you'll find all of his bases and drones and you can finish him off. If you can still produce units at a decent rate, he'll never catch up, you just gotta keep on going. The mistake that is easy to make is to think that you have more units so you just go search and destroy and forget about replacing units while you are doing this.
Fullstop and Maynarde give some good advice. Take what you can learn from this match and use it to play better next time, but do not beat yourself up too much. Everyone has a game like this at some point. It is up to you to make sure it does not happen again.
You got your TvT to finish in 30 minutes? It happens when I suicide my army but I can't finish the damn games in 30 minutes. D: Anyway, 30 minutes' long too for any games. Standard games finish in like 25 minutes and they are already rather lengthy. LOL! Anyway, there are lots of 1 hour TvTs.... uugghh....
@pikk0n: I'm not your standard Silver player besides, 30 minutes isn't that long. I prefer a nice safe 30 min win than 2 risky 15 min games. :/ That's just me course. A 50min to me is like a stalemate and the first one to make a mistake or just all-in will lose.

If he does anything and to win the game then it can't be wrong.. Really asking if any strategy he tries to win could be BM? That's like asking if a Terran who does tank/marine/banshee to allin is BM.
3 30 minute league games, defending a hole in my wall, managing my scvs from his mutas, trying to handle 3 infestors in my base, dealing with creep spread, burrowed roaches and college i get burned too easily these days :l meh, never again! i might get coaching from you iaguz

Leaving a lost game is just much better than prolonging something that is over..saves time for both of you, and you'll be able to play more games. But of course if you have a chance then stick no matter what the opponent tells you.
If the guy is trying hard to make a comeback then send your scvs to all the possible expos/mains, and build a supply depot there, so he cant take a base..and if he tries to you'll know what he's doing.
