Apparently. The question that's gonna be hanging in the air for as long as you can support it, is 'Is DeathsFang going to die???'.

Haha it's suspense man :P. Anyway, I wrote the last entry quite late at night. Would have written a super long entry but was quite tired. So decided to write a medium sized one before sleeping. I'll write a longer one today.

"DeathsFang is as you already know, very badly poisoned. Our 'check-up has shown that the poison used on Torniquet's blade is a mixture venom from some of the most venomous creatures in this world," Apth hesitated for a moment before continuing," The poison is a mix of Hydra venom, poison from Manticore spikes and finally the poison of a Basilisk. All of these are very rare and dangerous creatures, it amazes me as to how skilled Torniquet must be to have been able to hunt these creatures and extract their toxics."

Apth gestured to HD," These toxics were so rare that it took my master a whole hour to identify them. These specific poisons were used in this combination to cause maximum amounts of pain and suffering to its victim. If left untreated, DeathsFang will experience increasing amounts of pain until he can take no more and his mind breaks apart. When this happens, he will be no more than a vegetable and will die shortly after."

Everyone grew silent, no one knew how to treat DeathsFang. No one in the castle knew of an antidote or a cure of any kind.

"There is a way for you to save DeathsFang," HD spoke out, looking out the window. Immediately everyone turned towards him eagerly," I know of the ingredients needed to make the cure. Furthermore, I know how to get them."

Tanahon was the first to perk up," Well then get them!"

HD raised a hand," Now now, don't be hasty. While I can go and retrieve these ingredients by myself no problem, I think that our two young 'heroes' should lead a party on a quest for these items," turning to Benji he continued," Don't you think so too dear Benji?"

Benji was at a lost. He was not sure as to whether he should allow such a thing to happen. While a quest as danger ridden as this would definitely force the boys to grow at a much faster rate than if they were kept inside the castle, this quest may potentially kill them.

"Can we not send others in their stead HD?" questioned Benji.

Without the slightest hesitation, HD replied," No. I will only reveal the identities of the potion's ingredients and how to procure them once I have a blood contract saying that these boys will lead the quest for these ingredients."

Benji sighed," Fine. But I can not force the boys so do this, they must decide this for themselves," he looked towards the two and asked,"Well boys, what will it be? Please keep in mind that this quest may cause your lives."

The two looked at one another nervously, but once their eyes met they knew what they would do. As one they turned back to Benji and replied," We accept."

"Splendid. Now that the decision has been made, I will prepare the blood contract immediately. I will give you two until tomorrow to assemble your party, of no more than five. Tomorrow I will give a briefing for your quest." HD walked out of the door, with Apth following a short distance behind him carrying his large backpack, before returning for a moment," Oh, I almost forgot. My final condition before this quest takes place is that Paw must come back with me once the quest is complete." he paused before grimly adding," Or once DeathsFang dies. I'll tell you the amount of time he has left during the briefing."

With that, HD finally left, leaving Verdana, Tanahon and Benji alone with the pained DeathsFang.

HD (in the story) is an ass-hat, but anyways. I'm sure the real HD is a fantastic guy.

Yup, he is a really nice and awesome guy IRL . Sometimes I like putting the good ppl as 'bad' characters as a fun change xD. E.g. nirvAnA is the main evil villain, Torniquet the head admin is an evil assassin, etc.

nirvAnA does abuse his power a bit. But mostly just for lols. And hey, I'm a Viking.

As HD left the room, Benji wasted no time and sprang into action immediately. He hurriedly lead the two boys out of the medical bay and grabbed an armored guard who happened to be passing by on his patrol," Hey you, quickly get the clerics from the canteen back here to take care of DeathsFang."

"Yes sir, right away."

The guard ran down the corridor as Benji then addressed the boys," Alright you two, you are to go to the the council room straight away and wait for me there. Do not stop along the way under any circumstance. Understood?"

The two boys merely gazed back at Benji, but the look in their eyes were those of determination and he knew that they would follow his orders. As Benji began to turn away, Tanahon questioned," What will you do in the meantime Benji?"

Benji turned back and stared into Verdana's eyes," I am going to assemble to council so that we may discuss our current situation. This will also give you two the chance to properly meet with the remaining two council members."

As Benji walked down the corridor, Verdana and Tanahon sprinted in the opposite direction, straight towards the council room.As they ran, one question ran through their minds. How were the two remaining council members like, what was their areas of expertise and how powerful are they?

As Verdana and Tanahon reached the council room, they met a sight which they had not expected at all. All the council members will already assembled. Their faces must have been one of shock as everyone chuckled at them ate Benji quickly explained," I used telepathy to call them all here immediately, all of them have ways of getting around much quicker just running. For me its teleporting."

From the back of the council members, iMaster coughed loudly," I believe that we should finish with the introduction of the last two council members to the boys. Then Benji may inform us of the current situation. Agreed?"

The rest of the council nodded and iMaster continued," Well then, Frogmite and Erasmus hurry up and introduce yourselves!"

From the back of the group, two men stepped in front of the boys. Both wore a full suit of armour, clearly showing that they were knights, but wielded different weapons. One had a large round shield strapped to his back and a long sword by his side. On the other hand, the other knight had a large pole-arm strapped to his back.

Both men towered a good twenty centimeters above Tanahon and Verdana, forcing the boys to have to look up. The two boys felt intimidated by the men, and the stern expression on their faces did not help.

iMaster could see the two boys begin to feel uneasy and quickly addressed the two men," Frogmite and Erasmus, you two need to stop wearing that stern look on your face at all times. Your scaring the boys. And hurry up and introduce yourselves, we don't have all day you know."

The two men nodded at iMaster before lightening up and smiling at the boys. the knight with the sword and shield spoke up first," Sorry about that boys, its just that the two of us are very used to having that expression. Afterall, we have to look fierce in front of the trainees. Keep them in order. Anyway, enough of that, allow me to introduce myself. I am Erasmus, Swordmaster of Metalopolis. I am overall head of the swordsmen in the army and I oversee all of their training," Erasmus squinted his eyes at Verdana before continuing," You look almost identical to your father. It brings back so many long forgotten memories I had with Moonglade. Sparring with him and fighting side by side with him during the Great War," Erasmus smiled warmly before gesturing for the other knight to introduce himself while he moved back to the council members.

The pole-arm wielding knight began to speak in a foreign language and accent which the boys had never heard of before. Naturally, this puzzled them and they raised an eyebrow. Looking at the boys' faces, the knight laughed before apologizing in their language," Haha sorry about that boys, I'm from a foreign land and I sometimes accidentally use my homeland's language by accident! Anyway, as you would probably already have guessed, I am Frogmite. I am in-charge of the spearmen and pikemen in the army. And just like how Erasmus oversees the swordmen training, I oversee the training of the spearmen and pikemen."

Once Frogmite was done, iMaster spoke up once more," Well then, now that all the introductions are complete," he gestured to Benji before continuing," Benji, please tell us. What events have developed over the last few hours and what is our current situation?

Meanwhile, HDPhoenixx and Apth had managed to obtain an empty room for themselves from the castle's quartermaster and began preparing to make the blood contract.

"Umm master? Are you sure that this is a good idea? I mean the ingredients that the boys need to find are no joke. There is a very high chance that they will die during this quest even if a few of the council members follow them. Even more so if they lead the quest! They have not experience in such a thing," Apth questioned," Surely you could have asked the council to send their best people out and still have your daughter return with you."

HD picked up his chalk and began to draw symbols on the round for the blood contract ceremony," You are right Apth."

"Then why did you insist on sending the boys to their potential doom when they are the onyl two who have a chance to stand up to nirvAnA in the future?"

HD placed the chalk on the ground and sighed," Did you not see those two boys Apth?"

"What about them?" asked Apth, raising an eyebrow.

"They were stunned by a simple teleportation spell and transformation potion!" HD replied in a raised voice," They are very weak and naive right now and like this, they have no chance of standing up to nirvAnA or any of the aLt members!"

Apth flinched at HD's sudden raising of voice but carried on," But they still have time to train do they not? Especially in that time-chamber of the council."

Noticing his apprentice's flinch, HD lowered his voice and spoke in his usual tone," Considering how large the gap is between the boys' power level and those of nirvAnA and aLt, I believe it to be impossible for them to increase their powers by such a large amount through normal means. Even with the time-chamber. Desperate measures needed to be implemented if the boys are to become strong enough to win their battle against nirvAnA and aLt in the future. I had to pretend to be a 'bad' guy in front of the council and the boys and demand a blood contract as well as my daughter's return so that they do not know of my true reason for doing this."

"But why must you conceal your reasoning of your actions master?"

"You have much to learn about people my dear disciple. If I know the council, and I do, I know that they will not respond well to me doubting their ability to train the boys. Especially Frogmite, Erasmus and Benji, they have trained hundreds of powerful warriors and mages. Becuase of that, they are very proud of their ability to train people and if they hear of me doubting their training methods, things will not end well..."

Apth was silent, he knew that his master had done what he did for the benefit of everyone across the land. Even though it made him seem look like the 'bad' guy to everyone else, his actions were necessary for the well-being of everyone in the land.

HD bent back down and continued his drawing of the blood contract symbols. While doing so he levitated another chalk in front of Apth's face," What are you just standing there now? Hurry up and help me with this."

Apth grinned, took hold of the chalk and bent down to help his master in the drawings.

After hearing the only way to save DeathsFang, a close friend to all of the council, the council was in a predicament. They had to decide whether or not to let the boys go off on a quest, which would more than likely be a life-threatening task, but may save DeathsFang. Or they would make them stay but in that case DeathsFang will definitely be lost...

The decision was hard and each council member pondered about it long and hard. There was no way they could persuade HD to change his terms. They all knew what kind of person he was. Stubborn and he will not yield to their requests. They also could not force HD to inform them of the ingredients so that other may go in the boys' stead as HD is one which no one in the world would like to make an enemy of.

The room was completely silent. Every member of the council racking their brains of any idea which would help prevent the situation from progressing as it is now. But there was no such idea which could be thought of by the council.

The boys felt awkward, the air of the room felt stifling. They could think of nothing to say to the council, they could do nothing but stand silently in their spots until one of the council spoke up.

iMaster sighed out loud, after a half hour of thinking," Well ladies and gentlemen, i don't know about you all but I can not think of anything," the rest of the council nodded in agreement," I fear that we may have to send these boys on the quest to save DeathsFang."

Some of the council began to speak up to iMaster but he dismissed them with a wave of his hand," DeathsFang is the son of NirvAnA. He knows more about NirvAnA than the rest of us combined. And the fact that he has been a huge target of NirvAnA, or Cruxis actually, he must know or have something which NirvAnA feels threatened about."

The rest of the council were speechless, iMaster's reasoning was sound.

"Of course, the boys can not do this quest all by themselves. They will need companions in their quest. So now I ask each and everyone one of you. Who in the council will volunteer in following these boys in their quest?"

Smiling, iMaster replied," While I am very happy that each and everyone of you is able to give yourself up for such a quest without any hesitation. But, we can not send everyone. It would leave the city too vulnerable to any form of attack and the managing of the city would be almost impossible. At max, only three council members may follow the two boys."

"Well then I am going with them," came Kellymilkies immediately," My brother will redoubtably reappear on this quest. I have the most experience with him, I know many of his tricks. Also, there will be times where stealth is needed above all other things."

"Agreed Kelly. Now, who shall the last two to be on this quest?"

Writer's note: Sry about the lack of updates, have been busy with holidays and various family events. Will try to update at least this much regularly.

Btw, I can't believe how much trouble im having with writing this scene...
