Rules and Regulations

You must be in chat channel "sc2seaBSG" ready to play your match at start time
The same 10 minute timeout rule for BSG Opens apply throughout this tournament.
Tournament admins or official streamers are always allowed and the only ones to observe your game
There is no switching of race during the tournament.
Problems/Questions: When in doubt about anything, contact an admin
Reporting Results: After the match has been played, you must report the result by pm to an admin
Disconnects: If a player disconnects, the game must be replayed. If a player disconnects for a second time, his opponent will be awarded a free-win. A win may also be awarded if the player that disconnected was significantly behind at the time of disconnection. Contact an admin if you would like your game/replay reviewed.
Pauses: You must notify your opponent in game if you wish to pause. This pause should not exceed 5 minutes. Excessive pausing in game may lead to disqualification.
Bad Manner will not be tolerated. Anyone caught BMing will be warned. Further offenses will lead to disqualification. Any racist, hateful or excessively derogatory language may lead to removal without warning. We are a friendly group and I'd like to see it stay that way.
Replays: Should be saved for future reference. Anyone asked by admins to provide a replay who cannot do so will be disqualified.

Opening Round bo3 on Daybreak LE
Quarter Finals bo3 on Antiga Shipyard
Semi Finals bo3 on Shakuras Plateau
Grand Final bo5 on Tal'Darim Altar LE

In each round, loser of previous game may pick any map from the ladder map pool as per the following list:

I just right now got promoted to platinum. mixed feelings about this

, i was 100 points on top of my gold division with 1/3 the number of wins as anyone else (my record was 26w and 7L). now im 14th in plat and my points were shaved from 670 to 440 :|

He was gold when he qualified.
Disqualifying a player for getting promoted between their qualification and the tournament would be ridiculous and completely unfair.

even as plat he still hasnt won a tourny. The line between the top tier gold and low level plat is a very fine one.
