I was quite curious which BO do people usually go against different match ups like for example your standard strategy or BO that you may do for TvP , PvZ and PvP.
Not to mention the other match ups TvT , ZvT and ZvZ
Id love to hear what you guys all generally go for xD
ZvT: 15Hatch, 14gas/14pool, 14pool/15hatch
ZvZ: 14gas/14pool (safest and most common, good micro required to hold off cheeses), 15hatch (prepare to defend like a mofo if your opponent went one base)
TvZ: 2 rax gas-less FE into marine tank play. 6 marine poke at the start (most people do 5 but 6 kills a ling in 1 shot). 4 rax 2 factories. Build ebay at 9 minutes in preperation for muta harass take 3rd at 13 minutes. Once I have tank #3 move out with tanks, siege mode, stim and marines. build starports after 3rd in preparation for broods.
TvT: Wing it. Seriously. TvT is so messy for me at the moment. Echoics, stim pushes, hellion drops, cloaked banshees, reapers. Such a mess. Of late I have been trying my best to go 1/1/1 with a reactored rax, 2 tanks (no siege) and a viking, moving out, see what happens and react accordingly. I try and play defensively. rally troops to the mineral line to catch hellions, try and intercept drops with my viking... I dunno. If anyone has a solid TvT opener I'm all ears.
TvP: Was doing a 2thor + marines push at about 9 minutes which won me the vast majority of my TvP's but now that I am getting matched against high platinum/diamond players I'm looking for a more solid playstyle. Currently working on a 2rax FE into Thor Banshee play. Something like what Synystr does but with a few more Thors. I like thors
ZvX: 10 pool seedlings unless they wall in which case I Roach Rush. But honestly, I'm horrible with Zerg... I only play it for shits and giggles on the NA server when I couldn't be assed to play properly.

This is sjow coaching his signature TvT build to JP. He kinda gets cut off towards the end because JP gets rushed.
I fill in the end with a siege tank+siege mode aswell as a CC right after.
I float out with 3 tanks and a bunker on the low ground and play the game from there.
Im pretty sure sjow said his build was strong against anything in tvt but recently has said blue flame hellions are a problem. otherwise super strong and standard with tech and eco.
Thats about as standard as you can get. But as zerg, you have to react to what your opponent makes, those builds are (usually) only if your opponent is playing standard for that matchup as well. Although, you do usually need a plan to get to these unit compositions as well.
At the moment ZvP is a 3 gate star, PvT is 2 gate robo (most viable I believe) And PvP Im trying to work on perfecting my four gate, since the timing isnt as great as my other builds.
But I try mixing it up, if I go for a TvP or PvP I might try my Hallu Build is usually works quite well or it use to, Need to get the timing right.
How do you beat 3 rax or fast ghost rush? I find if I only have 2 gates I just simply don't have enough units.
Never been ghost rushed before, generally if im up against a 2 or 3 rax push all I need to counter is generally 2 sentrys 2 stalkers and an immo, then the Terran backs off ^^ Once they see that first immortal they retreat.
DUUUUUUUUDE, dont you use observers? to you know like scout? So its easy to see if they are ghost rushing you besides cloak takes awhile as well.
Cloak? Who said anything about cloak? The idea is they get 1 or 2 ghosts with mm and use EMPs to take out sentry energy then run up ramp and own you. Do you ussualy have
With 3 rax if they hit you nice and early they can force u 2 use sentry energy early and then they will be up the ramp and you simply won't have enough gate units even with the immortal.
