I did a little research and found that the cheapest "legitimate" digital version is from this website for SEA players
What I am most curious/concerned about is... why not just make an American account?
Like a proxy to cheaper prices (Not Attempting to Draw People to do this)
So make an American account and buy off digitally
Not like Blizzard is going to track down every NA digitally bought D3 code
(hoping this won't lead into assumptions such as "HERP THEY'LL TRACK YO COOKIEZ AND REGION AND SUE YO ASS... derp")
Your post isnt really clear, but it looks like you are talking about regions for diablo 3?
I thought diablo 3 wasn't region locked. ;S
Oh right ok then
I mean, why not just make an instant American account for b.net to buy the digital version of Diablo 3 in USD
That way its extremely more cheap and... we all use the same RMAH anyways since were all shifted to NA region (And yeah D3 isn't region locked when playing, but it is for Auction houses)
I bought d3 off the sea battle.net site and then saw the pricing on the american site was $20 cheaper... I don't understand why it is more expensive for us if the game is region free.

Why do people need to make an account? This is a StarCraft 2 forum, we already have them
Just to clarify SC2 price disparity - The SEA version gives you access to the SEA & NA servers. The NA version gives you access to the NA servers ONLY.
@nirvana, any idea why Qisahn's version is SG$65.90? Just curious, apparently they are not allowed to sell it or something and they are importing it from elsewhere. Asiasoft is the sole distributor in SG AFAIK.
Does anyone plan to get the Collector's Edition for D3? Its not value for money as normal version of course but perhaps the extra 3 x SC2 portraits and D3 character angel wings are cool...?

What they are doing is "parallel importing" which is illegal or they are at least bound to get into trouble as they have no rights to sell the game. I suspect they are buying it from US whole sellers / websites and these US sellers can only sell within their jurisdiction and u probably have access to only the auction house. (not 100% sure )
Basically AsiaSoft has the sole license for blizzard products in sg/my/th, its their exclusive right and only their official retailers are able to sell their games. Qishan is now bypassing that by parallel importing.
Anyway everything sc2sea.come does will be strictly by the book and according to our distributors regulations.
How about we gather early before launch date with our SC2SEA shirts and just crash FUNAN queues for the game huh?
Kairobot, I might get the Collector's Edition. Also included in the bundle is a soulstone USB drive holding the the full Diablo 2 Battlechest, Bonus DVDs (Behind the scenes thingy), Original Soundtracks CD and the exclusive skull.
