It's a creative play on words, pretty clever actually but the team name itself isn't going down too well over in the old TL thread. :P Unless I'm wrong and Dox called it that for some other reason, I'm just going off of what deL said.

The team is effectively labelled Envy (Nv), and the latin word for Envy is Invidia.

I think the TL lynch mob is just feeling empowered after having someone fired for perceived racism, and now they feel like they have the power to force teams to change their name. We have nothing to do with Nvidia, and Nvidia is fine with us.

I think the problem is that so many people are getting confused, not whether nvidia cares or not. Maybe they'll drop it soon, but if they don't, or if the same confusion arises in the future, there's a problem.

I think the problem would arise if caster's at MLG go like "Their name kinda sounds like Nvidia, though it doesn't seem like they're sponsored by them" and those little boys think they said "They name themselves after Nvidia but aren't sponsored by them which is wrong"
