To those who know me well, I am a huge ST_Bomber + MKP fan.
I wanted to find a build that was bio based, but yet also extremely fun to use/play with and well...frankly troll with.
Needless to say, when I saw Bomber use this build verses Destiny, I just had to use it and try it out on friends/clan members. Needless to say the FaDe Zergs have much hate for when they first met this build as I face-rolled them with it. Some said it was rather gimmicky, others said it was total bull crap. I simply enjoyed it as another build I have (to add to my whopping amount of TvZ builds which brings it to a grand total of 3).
It most certainly does work, and I attached 2 replays to give you some idea of how I play the 2 rax. I've rarely lost losing this build (I can never actually recall losing with it, then again I use this build rarely), and due to University starting I don't have much time anymore to play SC2. SC2SEA is such an awesome place and so this is what little I can give back to the community, especially for those low level terrans who are struggling and want to try something different. I know I'm not the best player, but again this is for the community. I hope you guys enjoy this build as much as I do.
Please Note: These are diamond level replays. Don't expect amazing things like supreme MKP-esque splits or whatever. Not really needed. Yes this works at my level. It can work as well in Masters/GM etc. but may be harder as obviously the skill level is much higher. Could be easier since GMs have such bossly macro. But again, this can be used by the lower leagues who want to have some bio fun =D. And plus, my Micro fails hard sometimes (too much reliance on just stimming and running marines back behind tanks =P)
Additional Notes: The mass marine build has been around for friggin ages. I just have a build-order I use in this case. And yes, I emulated it from Bomber.
Basic Build Order [With all build orders, things can change depending on the circumstances. This is just a guide-line, you don't ever have to stick straight to it. I didn't copy this build straight off from Bomber, rather tweaked it to suit my playstyle.]
10 - Supply Depot
12 - Rax
14 - Rax
- Do not make marines at all until CC is thrown down.
15 - CC @ Natural
16/17 - Supply Depot
When minerals allow - 3rd Rax
When minerals allow again - 4th Rax (or you can go gas first into double rax)
23 - Gas
- From here, you can deviate to whatever you want.
- I normally get a TL on my rax and research CS generally. Others may prefer Stim.
- Poke at 7 minutes.
Later: Ebay for +1 upgrades and later getting a second gas for medivac production, and getting upgrades for marines.
Other Notes:
- Just because you went mass marine, doesn't mean you cannot transition out of it. You can by all means switch to M/T if you find yourself getting destroyed by masses of lings/banes.
- Quite Micro-Heavy.
- This is an extremely GREEDY OPENER. Be sure to scout the Zerg to see what he's doing, as he may very well eat you alive if he spots you're greedy ass doing this.
- I don't always follow the set build-order listed here. This is just a guideline.
- The power to this build is remaxing extremely quickly. My macro fails in the replays given, but I pump marines hard
- Upgrades for Marines are a MUST. You have no chance without upgrades.
- I realize these replays aren't the highest quality in terms of play + macro etc, so don't be too harsh
I hope you guys enjoy the build, and be sure to try it out.
Shoutout to FaDe and to the great community of SC2SEA!
Also a shoutout to Benelings and HoneyBadger who were the lucky chosen ones to get picked of the replays I have dying to this build.

Reason: My Spelling Sucks
I use this build alot haha it's so micro intensive especially once Infestors come into play I get tired especially when it goes to a mid - late game >.<"
The only thing I'm concerned with, is the Zerg seeing 2 rax and making an abundant amount of lings whilst moving into banes/speed. Then just being aggressive because you aren't pressuring.
How well can you cover your expansion against ling/bane in the early game.
if zergs scout those 2 rax, they would know that you are not making marines because the barracks' light is not blinking. If they notice that(which normally most zergs do), they will freely drone up.

This just happened to me (as I was trying this Rico's strat) and by the time they had speed upgrade for their lings I was well into marine production. I had a bunker at my natural and things went fine. I think the main worry if them droning heaps

That's why scouting is essential. Since they're friends/clanmembers, I generally know their playstyle quite well and what they'll do. If you scout any sort of early aggression early enough, you can chuck down a # of bunkers you're happy with and try to hold it off.
