Hi,

So I was wandering what the deal with the avatars was on sc2sea. I got to upload mine a long time ago but it never appeared. Then I realized that only certain people had avatars apart from in-game units or milestones you get on sc2sea.

So I was just wandering, what exactly are you suppose to do to get the right to have a nice looking avatar with your face in it. Haha. Oh and it's pretty cool that we can't upload our own avatars now that you think about it, so that it will look uniformed and not be all over the place.

Oh and I noticed the "Boy Genius" under my name, well I wouldn't call myself smart but hey, thanks alot

Be a good member of the community. E.G Dox - does an absolute crazy amount for the community.

Tbh, i think Bugs should have a avatar with him with bloodshot eyes like hes been on all night, and the text underneath is like chatbox king =D lol

Admin tournaments for sc2sea until you get an avatar, then proceed to never admin them again.

Im not trolling either, its how I did it!

For the customized avatars, a talented Japanese Chibi artist I've known for sometime does it. I pay her for each avatar and they are drawn from scratch based on a picture of them and/or a theme (like zergtastic's overlord because of his overlord cost 200 minerals thread) You can check out most of them over here http://www.sc2sea.com/showthread.php?t=1621 Its kinda my small way of showing appreciation and saying thanks to those who have either helped out SC2SEA (mods/mvps) or the community (casters benji/xeen/phoenix) since I can't afford to pay them haha.

A little level lower are those who get to have user chosen avatars. Again, to recognize those who have helped us out in someway. Sometimes I just google an image, make it transparent then stick it as their avatar, whereas other times they send me an image they want and i make it transparent and put it up for them. These guys include TheBeeDuck sisters, mOOnGLaDe, Pinder, deL, Veteris etc

its just part of "chibi style" - to not have noses and have a head the same size as your body

I know but age doesn't matter. It's the quality that matters. Say I post something like what System posted, the formatting guide. It needs to be just as legit and age can't matter or else it would be unfair. That's why I need something that people would want and appreciate.

Alternatively, find whitty ways to call everyone idiots, constantly walking tight-rope over the "You're about to be banned for life" oceans, without ever actually falling in.

I'd suggest the Dox route tho.
