You need to decide whether you like a big or small mouse. And yes its a difference.
I went from the Tt Azurues which was a very basic but effective mouse - was a larger sized one.

Ive changed to the (smaller) Razer Abyssus and feel I probably now have much better control. Ive decided this simply from my zvz ling/baneling micro improvements. But my wrist is also now developing CTS :P. Might go back to the Azurues and see if there is a real correlation or not lol - maybe just improved over time

well you can bind them to stuff, when i used to play Guild Wars Guild vs Guild battles or WOW raids and shit, I bound it to my ventrilo transmit key so I can free up all the extra key presses on my keyboard for actions and shit.

You can bind it to anything, really.

small mice usually use claw grip and claw grip is best for micro and twitch movement but you'll fatigue a little faster

whatever you want them for. traditionally they act as the "forward" and "back" buttons for web browsers/windows (very handy).

in sc2, i use them for hotkeys 9+10. super good for drops and casters.

You can bind SC2 hotkeys to mice now?
