Heya guys, LanSmash is running its first Starcraft 2 LAN! Normally LanSmash is a massive BYOC event. For Starcraft 2 there will be dedicated machines for the tournament so participants don't need to bring their machines.

Date : 11th of December 2011
Format : Double Elimination
Where: QSAC Stadium
Admin : Blade
Time : 10am to 5pm (Sunday)
Cost : $15 per player

LS will provide up gaming machines for this tournament. You do not need to bring a PC to play, but we do recommend you bring keyboards/mice/headsets.

Spectators are free and encourage - and yes there will be a stream.

i am a tourist in australia since 3 month and im planning to stay here for 1 years at least and i do really like SC and i would like to play somes event while im in australia !

i would like to know about this event if my canadian sc2 account will work or if i will need to pay a new sc account who will work with your network ?

Hey mate your Canadian SC2 account will not work for this event. You will need to purchase a copy of the game from a store here in order to obtain an SEA account (although it comes with an NA account as well, which is what your CAN account is :P)
Be sure to stop by the LAN!
