This turned out to have incredible response! Yea crazerk might be swamped as the updating of results etc is gonna take so much time, and more as the people increase and weeks go by. What would help is a automated tournament system so everything can be on auto pilot and he only has to intervene when necessary. Does anyone know any websites that can do this?
We have our own in built ladder over here http://www.sc2sea.com/ladders.php?do=view&id=3 but its quite limited in terms of functionality, its just the basic ladder which is a different format then this arranged fixtures thing. But with all this response it certainty seems interesting to see what could happen with lots of people actively playing in it.

Challonge easily lets you set up a round robin league with a private sign up page to let people just add themselves (not publicly listed on the challonge page... so we can just link it on sc2sea and people will only find it from here). All you need is people to input the results when they've been reported.
Doesn't ESL do something like that? Sign into the site, the tournament brackets are made (by admins) and the time is entered into the system. If you and your opponent are browsing the site, a chat box will pop up informing both players it's almost game time (etc).
When the matches are over the replays are uploaded and the win/loss is recorded.
I could have the wrong site in mind, but it has been done. I'll check my bookmarks when i'm at home (and not leeching the neighbors wireless from work!).
@washington Heyi I'll put u on the waiting list!
@conundrum Next season player cap will be at least 60 alr have it thought out
@nirvana I AM actually using challonge to help me generate fixtures. The reason why I m not just simply linking the participants the URL is because I want to maintain some semblance of order. E.g. If players know all their fixtures, some players might complete all their games real fast, etc. also, with this 2 weeks at a go thing, theres more suspense I suppose
It's really not that much of a hassle considering I'm on the site about 12 hours a day so I'm looking for something to do anyway next season I may get 1-2 admin just to help update different divisions, but I don't see it getting out of hand

URGENT MESSAGE TO MASTERS DIVISION PARTICIPANTS!
Please do not play your games yet, after some discussion with nirvana we are going to test out a new system with you guys. Don't play your fixtures yet, nirvana will inform you about the new system soon!
Sorry for the inconvenience!
The masters division is currently put on hold, crazerk and I will work something out of his exams. So for players in the masters league, please DO NOT PLAY your games. Basically the prize will be a SC2 Taiwan key sponsored by sc2sea.com and it will be made an official event. There will be NO CAP in the number of players who can sign up. We will be testing the sc2sea ladder system as well.
For the non-masters league division everything continues as normally.
Yes,Interested participants please still do leave your names here, there's likely to be space for you if the new system is implemented.
I'm extremely busy the next few days as my final exams are here, I don't know what I'm doing still posting this and checking the site when my exam is in an hour ^^ sorry for the delay guys!
