1. We need to restrict the number of persons because the place we get is not very big.
2. Why don't i find a bigger place? You are welcome to find a bigger one. It's quite easy to whine when you don't do anythig. I will be happy with a bigger place, but as i wrote in the mail it cost 2500sgd to rent a big place.
3. YOU are non-sense. If you're not happy, organize a Barcraft yourself.
4. The first thread was a poll to see how many people were interested. You can still try your luck on the barcraft day, but we'll be packed.
Organizing an event like a Barcraft is not so easy, help is always welcome. It's not easy to find a big place, and not easy as well to explain to the bar management that you want to broadcast video game inside their bar for a night. Constructive comments are welcome, whining is not.

frogmite spent alot of time sourcing for a place while managing his clan, the BSGCL and having a full time expat job. he finally find a nice one and we are all looking forward to a good time, have some appreciation instead of pointing fingers and showing negativity. there will be more bar craft events in the future now that we know the response is good.
i.e so instead of "lol just get a bigger place, lol barcraft sg fail time to make a reddit post" try "maybe a good place would be blablabla i made some calls to enquire and...." cause one way actually helps the other just shows you're unhelpful + unappreciative.

I moved to Singapore three weks ago, I sometimes can not find my own flat .
YIGIT, you really should stop this now. Organizers do their best to make good events and from the popularity of what Frogmite has organized, it is a success.
You're acting like a spoiled ingrat. Be more constructive and control yourself.
You could at the contrary help Frogmite for next one and see with him how you could, for example in finding not too expansive or free places where more than 40 people could participate, or find sponsors.

I want more rage from Frogmite!
You must understand the logistics behind making a BarCraft possible. The bar must have a decent Internet connection. To be entirely honest, I did some scouting on my own a few weeks back, and found 2 bars which can fit more people, but they do not have broadband Internet (they don't need to, it's a bar, not an Internet cafe). Molly Malone's have reasonably good Internet speeds (3Mbps according to the barkeep) and can fit a decent amount of ppl.
And who would have thought that tiny Singapore could have this amount of interested ppl? Even on the polls you've linked, there were only 30-40 guys interested (except one who didn't want it) (YAAAAAAAAAANNNGGGGG). The sudden surge in applicants poses a problem, but it is a good problem to have, as we now know that we can expect a full house and not organize a BarCraft for nothing.
Logistics for anything is a terrible nightmare and Frogmite has done us a great service for us all. So let us appreciate him and not rage just because you had a bad ladder day. ._.
